What one is supposed to make of the dynumbic duo and their ridiculous quest is hard to fathom: are the filmmakers using redheads as a metaphor for society's disenfranchised or is it just a trendy road movie packed to the gunnels with random acts of anti-social behaviour? If this had starred Malcolm McDowell and been directed by Lindsay Anderson in the 60s, I daresay it could have worked but its lack of focus and smug ambiguity left me resolutely unmoved. Make up your own mind. I did: see stars.

(br) wrote: Third entry in this series is a horrible, poorly executed family film that like the first two could have been a good film, but fails because of a poor cast and a poor plot. I enjoyed these films when I was younger, but when you grow up, you realize that some childhood favorites aren't as good as you remember them to be. This is simply put a terrible third entry that has nothing good going for it and it fails at being nostalgic like so many other childhood favorites of mine. The cast is horrible and there's absolutely nothing good going on here. The plot is sloppy and the directing is unfocused. Ultimately this film is very silly, and quite stupid rather than really entertaining. The film is quite forgettable, and like the first two fail to be good family films worth seeing years later. As far as entertainment is concerned this film fails. If you're looking for a good family film, this film isn't it. The film is just a cash grab to make more money and has no sense of inspiration. Overall a poorly constructed third entry, and is simply awful filmmaking. Pointless in every sense of the word, this third film really scrap the bottom of the barrel of bad ideas, and you that on-screen. Watch something else rather than this pointless garbage. This is a poorly done film that really doesn't possess anything memorable or fun. This is just a stupid third entry to a series that never should have existed in the first place.

(jp) wrote: The most shocking film of the 60s? I mean girls are brutally killed in very horrifying ways...Just remember Psycho only about 2 years before? That shower scene shocked people this would just fucking horrify them to death, That scene were the girl has her face smashed up to the side of the stove made me say WTF because of how gory and graphic it was. But then again this is truly the first and most influential Italian Giallo legend Mario Bava. Though it took more than once before I started to like it but this gore feast and colourful movie might just be one of the greatest ever. Isabella, a young model is murdered by a mysterious masked figure at a boarding house run by Max Morlacchi and his lover Countess Cristiana Como. When Isabella's boyfriend is suspected of the killing, her diary, which apparently has some incriminating evidence linking her to the killer, disappears, the masked killer begins killing off all the models in and around the house to find the diary. I liked the story and there's nothing wrong with it...But it gets the point really fast but the movie can be slow with Bava showing off his creative low budget talents ...And colourful yet hunting lighting. The acting is really good despite being dubbed that can be off a bit in the editing but still...The special effects are just gruesomely cool yet so sick for its time, Girls are hit violently and murdered disgustingly only too shock you I think...Lewis did it a year before with Blood feast (What a laugh riot that was). Still the technical side is brilliant and so creative; They truly don't make movies like these anymore. Here are some facts I found. A landmark film in Italian cinema, as Sei donne per l'assassino was the film that began the 'giallo' genre. The giallo genre remains Italy's longest running cinematic movement. Filmed in six weeks. Due to the film's low budget Mario Bava mounted the camera on a child's wagon and used it for tracking shots. For its original release in America the distributors disliked Bava's opening credits that showed the cast posed around the salon in a series of creative tracking shots. The distributors had new opening credits made that showed a series of macabre animations of mannequins being shot. UK cinema and early video versions were cut by the BBFC to heavily edit the violence in the murder scenes including a woman being battered against a tree trunk, the bathtub killing, the gauntlet murder and shots of Peggy being held against a hot stove. The UK censor cuts were restored in the 2000 Nouveaux video release though the film was missing an overhead shot of blood flowing in the bathtub water. Overall if you want to kill some time, Take a trip with this early 60s gore feast slasher shocker that you will never forget. My final verdict recommended.

I never knew you could make a film like this! Now, I've seen tons of experimental cinema, from Stan Brakhage to David Lynch! What about the film's content? It is absolutely amazing! The visuals are beautiful and creative, and perfectly shows city life without any sign of of a script or story! But, hey, who needs those?
