Eytan D (au) wrote: "Dare" is like the doppelganger of a John Hughes movie. It explores the depths of teen sexuality and rebellion not with humor, but with an honest bleakness that is honestly something a viewer can respect. But then again, it has the opportunity to go farther. Sometimes it goes full throttle, sometimes it holds back. There's a lot of controversial material just bubbling over the surface of "Dare", but it only occasionally explodes. On the other hand, you get an awesome cast: Emmy Rossum, Zach Gilford and Rooney Mara are all very good, but Ashley Springer is someone to watch out for.

Sherry Y (mx) wrote: It has a good beginning but it's strange when you continue watching. It has a lot of scenes of sex but it's not necessary sometimes. Anyways, the ending is strange to me and it makes the story flow not smooth.

Jaime G (jp) wrote: Inquietante y aterradora.

Stefano L (us) wrote: The Blue Lagoon meets The Postman Always Rings Twice and The Postman loses 10 to 0: lame script, actors, direction and above all Billy Zane's hairstyle. One star for the wild sex scene.

Jacob B (jp) wrote: Despite it's cop-out cliched ending, 'Jacob the Liar' is a somewhat funny film with good performances.

Martin G (fr) wrote: Bon film post-apocalyptique d'origine espagnole. Faible budget mais tout de mme bien fais. L'histoire demeure crdible.

George B (gb) wrote: I'm so glad they got rid of the crappy direction they took with parts 3-5 and did something different and twisted much like the spirit of the first two films.

Tim S (jp) wrote: Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie, although critically acclaimed by many, was seen by fans as not the best that MST3K had to offer, but it was good enough to get some new fans into the fold. I pretty much feel the same way. What's fun about MST3K is when the movies that they spoof are just completely incompetent, haven't aged well or lack any quality whatsoever. Everything from 50's sci-fi B movies to 80's sci-fi train wrecks are really the bread and butter of the show's focus, and the film featured in the movie, This Island Earth, doesn't reach those sort of levels. We appreciate the heck out of it for the effort, and we genuinely laugh along with it, but it wasn't the olive in the martini. A lot of it had to do with the studio that they were working with who noted it quite a bit and pressured them into cutting a big portion of it out. The movie is actually shorter than episodes of the original TV show. Regardless of that, it's still a fun movie.

Josh L (mx) wrote: Here's where they completely flew off the wagon with this. Not only is the plot completely a gimmick and not worth the charm of the characters, but it lost the fun and replaced it with bad one liners and too much goofiness. A lack of ideas is evident from the get go. It's just not fun at all and does not explore what made the TMNT characters so popular. They also changed the puppets and they were not as good as the originals from the first two. Not sure what happened there. This one is not worth the time, but if you already found the others not fun than this is not tolerable.

Victoria M (br) wrote: I laugh so hard at this movie.. i recommend it to everyone!

Mike B (ru) wrote: Great casting, Fantastic settings. I disagree totally with the assessment of "flaccid" by one of the pro reviewers. Yea a bit detached from the characters, but I think that was an important part of the story coming from the book, the disconnection of all the people in the spy bussines, and how they used each other.

Andy F (us) wrote: All's good while above ground, even though it's almost a blow by blow remake of the first film. Once the ludicrous 'underground' plot takes hold though this movie rapidly deteriorates into sixties sci fi hokum.

Angie S (kr) wrote: The dance scene just makes me wanna be her and go back to that time in my life.

Guido S (nl) wrote: Mark Wahlberg is a bartender. His girlfriend left him, he is struggling to figure out what to do with his life with financial issues. The Eagles stink, so they are doing tryouts, so he goes and makes the team. The film shows how he went from not likely to make the team to being on the final roster and playing on special teams. I feel the film ends a little early just as it is getting going, but the story is good and heartwarming.

Lucas Z (br) wrote: Interesting story, but it struggles between weak actors/actresses and a soft script.
