Jeff B (au) wrote: Excellent coming of age film starring Barbara Hershey, Richard Thomas, and Bruce Davison (the film debut for most of them) as three people who meet on Long Island in the summer and get pretty close with each other (perhaps too close). Catherine Burns comes along later in the film as a fourth member of the group (and getting a Supporting Actress nomination for it), her scene involving her mother is excellent. Pretty risky for 1969, it's a well told story with great acting and dialogue. Quite the ending.

Adam R (nl) wrote: An all time classic comedy with some tremendously funny performances by its three leads. I would dare say that THIS was Marilyn Monroe's best performance. She's just so naturally funny; and Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis are equally hilarious as the two bumbling musicians on the run. This is a very likable movie that holds up incredibly well. Check it out and have a good laugh.

Chasing Mavericks, starring Gerard Butler and Jonny Weston, which celebrates Jay Moriarity, a famed surfer of Mavericks, a treacherous zone in California.Strangely well done for a surfer movie, it highlights their happenstance meeting and mentor ship all through his young life. Go back and catch this when you have time, you won't regret it!
