Skylar H (kr) wrote: I saw this movie when I was in Elementary School, and thought it was really cute.

Tim M (us) wrote: It hasn't aged well and you can tell it was shot in a month. Poor lighting and angles plague the film in several places. 15 years ago it was nominated for 7 awards and won 2. What was once genuine, now feels like a parody. Fans of Ng or Wan Lau that think "the complexity of action and character are fascinating" may enjoy this dated melodrama.

Robyn M (nl) wrote: Little Buddha has very little credit to it's name, which is unfortunite because this film is powerful with it's Insightful, and enlighted view that contrast to the educational understanding of Buddist traditions and where it orginated. i recommend it highly to others with an open mind interested in the religion or practice.Keanu was deep within his character, playing the young and transformed Buddha himself, great acting all around, i walked away with a better view into Buddhism.

Goran K (fr) wrote: This honestly felt like someone read the blurb on the back of one of the Spook's Apprentice books, and told their friend about it some time later, glossing over some details, and perhaps forgetting others; and then that person told his partner about it while they were walking down the street on a particularly windy day a few steps ahead of someone walking behind them, who managed to catch bits and snippets of conversation, who then thought- "wow! this would make a great movie!" and proceeded to write a script and create the movie based solely on the information he gathered that fateful windy day. In other words, if you have had the pleasure of reading Delaney's series "The Spook's Apprentice", please do yourself a favour and avoid this movie.
