As the nation confronts its conscience over the freedom of its entire population, Lincoln faces his own crisis of conscience -- end slavery or end the war. Yet the president is torn, as an early peace would save thousands of lives. Lincoln must, by almost any means possible, obtain enough votes from a recalcitrant Congress before peace arrives and it is too late. However, his task is a race against time, for peace may come at any time, and if it comes before the amendment is passed, the returning southern states will stop it before it can become law. president Abraham Lincoln endeavors to achieve passage of the landmark constitutional amendment which will forever ban slavery from the United States. ATCH IT!. The best movie ever and my best friend in highschool wrote and directed this movie

Kendrick is an astounding actress and proves more so here than anywhere else, that she can keep a film afloat no matter how bottom barrel it may seem. However, mixing in creeps throughout the film helps to divert the viewers attention without much harm to the overall arc. Along with that, the mysterious abductor is telegraphed far before the climax of the film, despite director Nathan Hope's best attempts and covering it up once its been revealed. Treating a website like MySpace as if it were a new idea, the film and its characters are portrayed as having little knowledge of how they work or that they exist, even though MySpace was launched six years prior to the release of this film. For a film that came out in 2009, "Elsewhere" plays out like a thriller in the dawn of the internet in the 90s. The biggest flaw within the film is the dated nature of the material. Led by the gorgeous Anna Kendrick, her command of the character Sarah comes off very much like the turn Kristen Bell gives as Veronica Mars, using the assets around her to figure out the case, including a classmate named Jasper, played wonderfully by unknown Chuck Carter. As dismal as this film looks and sounds on the outside, "Elsewhere" really rises above it's straight-to-DVD packaging and delivers a somewhat provocative and engaging thriller

Formulaic and cliched, Vampires: Los Muertos lacks the vision and style of the John Carpenter original. But, it delivers on the gore and the action. The acting is rather weak and the effects aren't much better. Once again a vampire is seeking the Black Cross of Berziers in order to walk in daylight, and a rogue vampire hunter must put together a team to try and stop her. Vampires: Los Muertos is a weak and uninspired horror film that's just trying to cash in on a franchise. Yes, it's that kind of sequel. If you can't get James Woods, get Jon Bon Jovi

I like documentaries to have a little more panache, but that's a personal thing. This should be considered a companion piece to "Unprecedented" because both of them will shock anyone. It'll change anyone's opinion on American democracy. This is hugely important to see

liked the first one only. . . Kill this series already

America loves guns - and loves to use them even more - especially when protecting the ones it loves. Ray Milland does a better job in front of the camera than behind it. Decent nuclear war survival film

Nonetheless, acting and cinematography are top-notch once again. Not as perfect as the predecessor, a bit confusing in the middle
