It's greatness is in portraying Native American life on a South Dakota rez honestly and brutally, but it's also funny and very touching. I love the closing scenes at Mount Rushmore, and the emotional funeral scenes. It's hard to come by, but everyone should see it.

(es) wrote: Not a romantic comedy fan generally but this is a great movie. It's cute and funny and romantic and doesn't feel forced. What really makes it work though, it the natural chemistry between Bill Pullman and Sandra Bullock, who are both excellent in this movie. They work so well together and the relationship between them just feels so natural and perfect, they could not have picked better leads for this movie.

Anger has made Jim get the girl of his dreams but her snotty picked fiance doesn't like that jim was chosen over him. Denny makes a appearance being older and that much wiser of teh hills. Jess even acknowledges how much Jim meant to her in the first movie. Yet again Denny makes the leap of faith off the cliff. Whenever I see that it makes me so excited and more interested in movie. I just want to point out that Brian Dennehy looks the best i have ever seen in his entire career.

This little gem of movie is no exception to that rule. Actors who can't act, special effects that aren't special and a sound track that is just, well, bizarre. CHOMP...CHOMP...CHOMP. Don't let the synopsis fool you there are no "beautiful" women to be found here. Skip this one and stare at your favorite wall for about 80 minutes instead. It will be a more rewarding experience.
