Bill R (es) wrote: At first I was intrigued with the story until it switched horror subgenre and just screwed it all up. I can look past horrible acting and b movie plots because sometimes those are great movies that shine through the whole Hollywood shit that's produced. This just didn't do it for me. I hated the dialogue, they tried for subtle but if subtle hair trim is a buzz cut then they scored. The ending and reveal didn't make sense due to physical capabilities. I won't say more in case I ruin it but watch if you like...not a suggestion though.

Jason R (ru) wrote: Spanking The Monkey is probably one of the best Dark Comedies I have ever seen. Jeremy Davies has always been a good actor and has never put out a bad performance, even in Twister when he had four or five scenes, he is just a quirky and very talented actor. Great movie, really great acting, and a very interesting plot make Spanking The Monkey essential viewing for lovers of Independent Cinema.

Ashley H (fr) wrote: The Iron Curtain is an excellent film. It is about a Russian spy living in Canada. Dana Andrews and Gene Tierney give excellent performances. The screenplay is well written. William A. Wellman did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the thrills. The Iron Curtain is a must see.

Aidan H (us) wrote: Unecessarily overwrought prison drama made even more silly by its young offenders, most of whom clock in around their late 20s. Although Joe Cole is certainly a face to watch, the rest of the cast are straight out of Eastenders Academy and as scary as a Grange Hill disco. Scum, it ain't.
John B (gb) wrote: A very eighties film. Melanie Griffith's character manages to work her way up and win Harrison Ford's heart...all the while being annoying as heck.
cody f (ru) wrote: Fun film about a Newlywed couple who move to the frontier of upstate New York during the American Revolution. While they are there they have problems with the weather, Indians, and the damn British! This is Ford's 1st color film and it looks great. It was all shot on location in Utah and it is one of the best looking films of its time. There is a chase scene where 3 Indians are chasing Fonda through the plains and wilderness that is intense and gorgeous.
