After many years of having worked as a tour guide at the Senegalese slave museum, Alloune decides to go to America in search of his ancestors. They were taken away from his village 200 years ago and sold as slaves in the New World. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

The film is hugely inspired by the first 20 minutes of Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye as Manjot continues his "Daddy ji" mode while Richa Chadha takes Dolly one step further. The 'Choocha' guy doesn't pull off a Jonah Hill but the unknown Hunny is here to stay. There is not much in the plot, some decent laughs here and there, and it gets watchable, at least once.

I am a big fan of war movies, and I was thinking that SAVING PRIVATE RYAN was the best, but i was wrong. In my opinion THE BROTHERHOOD OF WAR surpasses them all. Am I exagerating?! no.. What makes this movie special-at least for me- is: -so realistic battle scenes and emotions showing horrors of war and not glorifying it like other movies. -dealt not only with war crimes, but also with the government crimes towards its own people. -asking what is patriotism and which bond is stronger;to one's family or to his country? -great cast and smooth, yet powerful backgroud score-reminded me of the same effect of that of BRAVE HEART had on upon me. Some Westerns may think of it as being kinda over-dramatic, but I see it's a part of the Eastern tradition in general, and actually it is justifiable here;the movie is more than some graphics which are very realistic. NOTE: "The Korean War is an obvious example that there is no winner and loser in wars, only losers. There was no peace treaty, only a cease fire"

Viral outbreak on a plane, bad actors, bad medical theories, and stereotypes galore. with daniel baldwin you know its gonna suck, but i was some how hoping that p. ann miller might some how make it a bit better. I think the other bad actors must of sucked her life soul of out her. lol oh the doctor on the plane reminds me of the asian assistant from Quncey ME.

Scott Bairstow is also cool as well- about a bunch of misfits who decide to start a semi-goth band but end up in a sticky web of intrigue that involves murder, black magic, and pseudo gothic-industrial music. Spectacular.

Brad S (jp) wrote: I first saw this film in theatres, and this time watched the Director's Cut on Blu-ray. The visuals are absolutely outstanding and I liked the story. Roger Ebert chose it as the best film for the year it came out,. The cast including Kiefer Sutherland, William Hurt, Jennifer Connelly and Rufus Sewell are all good. This is an inventive and beautiful looking sci-fi films that will surely enthrall fans of the genre.
