Scott H (nl) wrote: Pretty atrocious ... a plot that would work for a half-hour TV show just doesn't work over an hour and a half. Not funny, weird supporting characters that seem to randomly appear. Just brutal.

Robert H (ag) wrote: Full Moon steps up the game with this one. Though dated by today's standard, the computer graphics and green screen in the film were pretty good at the time. Nice to see such a star studded cast before they were really stars. Megan Ward and A.J. Langer have done quite a bit of television work. We all know how amazing Seth Green has become. Q... I mean John DeLancie has a short but fun role in the film. And we all know what David Goyer has gone on to write (Dark City, Blade series, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, etc. etc.) Filled with references (and borrowing heavily upon) Dante's Inferno, the film touches on dealing with your past, living for the future and, of course, the desire and need for technology and just how evil it is. Wait, technology is evil? Crap. I guess I better stop writing this review.

Scott R (jp) wrote: The critics who rated this film obviously missed the depth and beauty that made this film nothing short of the masterpiece that it is. Dream a Little Dream was a heart warming coming of age story that transcended the vast and seemingly insurmountable generation gap of the late 80s. Rich with pithy alegory, time-tested literary themes, metaphysical & philosophical overtones all wrapped up in a love story for the ages. With flagship caliber performancs by both Corey's supported by the brilliance that was always delivered by the great thespian, Jason Robards as well as the delightful Meridith Salinger, this film is a perfect balance of drama and comic relief. This movie was by far the best and most underappreciated of the Two Corey's franchise and an absolute treat for anyone who is watching it.

Brett H (de) wrote: Absolute crap with no point, terrible acting, stupid plot, and poor direction. I know Peter Jackson's early work consisted primarily of his love for over-the-top gore (which is the only positive here), but it's not clever or as awesome as Braindead. It's also one of the longest hour and a halfs I've ever sat through.

Sean C (br) wrote: While it isn't a great movie, it does have many strange things going for it that I liked. Each character seemed like they were playing exaggerated versions of their character to the point where they seemed like they could be seen as bad actors. Candy's father reminded me a lot of a character Dave Foley played on the Kids in the Hall. The parents of the kid who finds Candy are so angry all the time, without any reasoning behind it. It was pretty funny. All in all, I'd say give this one a try.

Angela S (ru) wrote: loved it, loved it, loved it. it loses some points because of the stupidity of the people who decided to use a dog that did not look anything like old yeller or his son.

jay n (de) wrote: slows a little towards the end but a fine film with a great small performance by Alexis Smith.

Shantel D (kr) wrote: A slow burn, but a damned good one.
