Dann M (ru) wrote: Lighthearted holiday fun, Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo is a bouncy, bouncy film exploding with Easter spirit. The story follows the Hundred Acre Wood gang as they gear up to celebrate Easter, however Rabbit has other plans and puts them to work spring cleaning; which leads Tigger to attempt to re-awaken Rabbit's Easter spirit. Once again the storybook/narrator motif is used to great effect, particularly when the characters travel back and forth to Easters past and future by flipping through the book's pages. The animation however, is a bit lacking; it has a very crisp computer animated feel but the coloring is kind of rugged. On the other hand, the music is especially well-done, and features a number of charming children's songs (including some catchy sing-alongs). Winnie the Pooh: Springtime with Roo is an incredibly entertaining and festive family film that has a positive message about friendship and selflessness.

Dustin D (ca) wrote: An incredibly crafted and atmospheric story about the harsh realities of being a woman in early 20th century China (and, by extension, modern-day China).
Aaron G (mx) wrote: Even if the stakes could not be lower (they couldn't) this is worth the watch for Tim Robbins alone, who steals the show like it's first base.
Matt M (jp) wrote: A store clerk must foil criminals to save the life of the man who, miniaturised in an experiment, was accidentally injected into him. An eighties updated version of the science fiction classic film Fantastic Voyage. This is a little more lenient to the comedy side, and is quite entertaining not only due to the exciting pace but also due to the cast.

Kinohi N (ca) wrote: The film's narrative development depends a great deal on casting the housemaid as an innocent naif who is manipulated by her callous employers. Yet the director shows us that she is quite complicit in the extramarital affair in which she's caught up. As such, it's difficult to feel sympathetic toward her (and her outrageous final act), for it simply doesn't make much narrative sense.
Jayakrishnan R (jp) wrote: 86%I cannot help but wonder how technically superior this 1998 film really is, all those things of spying seems ultra-realistic. Enemy of the state is boosted by a fast paced script and direction from Tony Scott, fast edits, and good pairing between Will Smith and Gene Hackman which all leads into a surprising ending.
