It manages to critique the inaction and mismanagement by the government while also telling an uplifting story. This is a must watch documentary!

Find your self, change what you dont like, deal with stuff. However the movie was cheesy and full of sophisticated crap.Should have been funnier to convince me.Also,Liz was a hypocrite with all that love stuff. And my questions: Is it that easy to meet people in other countries? Are the countries like that or the movie is full of stereotypes? How did James Franco became a douche after this nice role?

Tyler S (ca) wrote: So damn good for a first film. Ti West shows more talent and potential than any other new horror director alive. His film making is so brilliant because he doesn't make horror by today's standards, but that of yesterdays. All of his films are shot in the eye of previous decades, back when horror was still relevant and well made.

Guido S (fr) wrote: In a rare movie by documentary maker Michael Moore, Canadian John Candy plays an American sheriff who goes all pro-American anti-Canada when the President creates a fake fear of Canada to improve his falling approval rating (Sad to see this was Candy's last role). This film is a good commentary on the way propaganda is used by the media and how it can lead people to do dumb things. Great cameos from Aykroyd and Belushi. It has a bit of Roger and Me in it when a local weapons manufacturer closes its factory to move overseas, that doesn't really have a purpose other than to give a good resolution to the film. This movie is dumb, but in a good kind of way. Surprised it didn't get the love it should. Though I don't like Moore's more recent efforts, this is an enjoyable movie that doesn't preach too much but ends up being a fun take on American pride and media propaganda.
Millo T (br) wrote: Between 2.5 and 3. The movie is just a 2.5 (as maximum), but I add half an additional star because of the reflections about the suffering of the lower class. It is specially interesting the reflection about we being drunk people fighting against us, instead of getting united to confront our common problems.
