Jonathan L (es) wrote: A great and interesting movie with great characters and a beautiful cinematography. The characters in this movie was very well written and they felt real and that deserves a major plus.

Evan A (gb) wrote: Overall the action keeps the film enjoyable enough for fans of Pirates of the Caribbean, but it's plot and pacing is overall a mess. (B-)

Brett R (au) wrote: The acting isn't THAT terrible. I liked the Alien. But throw in a silly romance (and an even sillier campfire horror story)... almost lost me. Still, enjoyed the dune buggies and the pretense of psychological character development (almost works). Overall, not a horrible movie.

Russ V (ca) wrote: Sure, it can be kind of fun at times, but this movie is nothing more than a silly, over the top action movie, which is not what Tomb Raider is all about.

Addie S (it) wrote: holy shit i love this movie!!!!!!!!.........really kinda messed up but Kevin McKidd rocks!that and he and James Purefoy (from rome) are in it together..

Kevin N (us) wrote: Pretentious, melodramatic slosh consisting mostly of completely blatant symbolism and juiced up romanticism. I get it, this is a glimpse of romance the way that everyone hopes it can be, including these two doomed misfits who try to write their own relationship. It's an interesting idea, and visually the film makes a lot of bold moves. However, Medem's thematic approach is anything but subtle, and by the time the film reaches its grandiose, gassy ending the characters have become sickeningly-sweet cutouts of human-like caricatures. It is as if Medem has no faith in his own ideas as things that can be understood by others and must compensate by spoiling the mystery of each of his scenarios.

Isabella D (fr) wrote: Even watching this movie in the background, I wasn't all that impressed from what I saw. I'd have to watch it again and pay attention through the entire thing to be sure, but I'm pretty sure my attention span would not last through that particular movie (hence why I was not captivated by it while doing other things). It couldn't hold my attention.

Michael R (it) wrote: Interesting Little Comedy...

Matthew W (fr) wrote: Well-executed showstoppers and extra doses of camp and charm make this a must-see.

Justin B (ca) wrote: Unbearably obnoxious adult coming of age tale seemingly directed at preteen girls.
