Jin T (fr) wrote: This is another origin team up movie of a famous group in the DC Comics, the Justice League. However, to me it's not an official team up but rather teaming up on the spot against a common foe. Our favorite superheroes are against a formidable super villain, Darkseid. While Superman is out and about, even Batman, we witness other heroes who are dealing with the crisis that's been going around. Which are these robotic creatures that are invading the planet. Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Shazam, and Cyborg are up to the task for that. We see a lot of action and interaction with these heroes while Batman does his thing. He ends saving Superman from the other side of the portal, to Darkseid's fortress or whatever you call it. While I am not used to the attire that these superheroes are wearing in this movie, I understand they're the latest ones. Wonder Woman's outfit is not so bad while Superman is what we used to already. Especially if you have watched Man of Steel. This movie is not so bad and it's so fast paced. If this was a live action film, I think I would have said that Batman v Superman is a little bit better but maybe because that I thought there wasn't enough development for each character but that's just me. I mean we all know who these characters are and we're all familiar with them but there are still people trying to get in, trying to get to know these characters for the first time. Especially since comic book stories and characters are getting well known than ever before. The action scenes are not bad for an animated movie and the art style is acceptable, at least for me. I am more familiar with the art style and action on the animated tv series of Justice League and even the story there was more thorough than this. Although I enjoyed the movie, some flaws like the fight against Darkseid was a little bit exaggerated but it's okay. That's just me.

As usual, the Japanese are horrifically barbaric tyrants and this time they've set their eyes on Taiwan and her indigenous people. We follow Mouna Rudo through twenty five years of his life resisting the iron boot of Japan. We experience his tragedies, the tragedies of the lives he creates, the growth of his legacy through his children, their children, and their wives and parents. There is so much to be seen here and I would recommend this in a heartbeat. An emotionally resonant piece of cinema that falters but stands tall amongst its peers.

Shay B (ca) wrote: The actors and actresses were great. The characters evolved and grew through-out the film and were characters you really wanted to root for and hoped to see win in the end. The movie was entertaining and easy to follow. Its kind of an overdone story line, but still great.

Dann M (nl) wrote: The neo-noir crime thriller 3000 Miles to Graceland is a fun film that's packed with high adrenaline action. The story follows a group of criminals that rob the Riviera Casino during an Elvis impersonator convention, but the escape plan quickly falls apart as the group starts to turn on each other. The cast is quite impressive, and includes Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner, Courteney Cox, Christian Slater, and David Arquette. However, the story is a bit uneven and doesn't follow very well. But the action sequences are exceptionally well done, and bring a lot of intensity and energy to the film. There are a number of problems with 3000 Miles to Graceland, but it still manages to be an entertaining thriller.

Luke E (nl) wrote: Although it doesn't really hint at its agenda, so much as slap you over the head with a giant tuna-fish of environmentalism, the whole film basically works because of the sheer magnitude and grandeur of Bruce Dern's bulging and urgent eyeballs. And boy, do those eyeballs speak truth.
Aj V (ru) wrote: This is the only film with Steele that I really didn't like, she's not in much of the movie anyway because she was working on another movie at the time. The other movie was probably better. The plot doesn't make much sense, but it is pretty creepy.
Mark S (fr) wrote: Probably Bergman's best comedy, but I prefer when he covers the more dramatic. The convoluted plot is handled with the lightest of touches and I can see how this has influenced other films (namely Woody Allen's A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy), but for all of its wit I can't subscribe to it being even one of Ingmar's greatest films, let alone one of the greatest films of all time.
Jonathan G (ru) wrote: Was a great and intense book in 9th grade. This movie adaptation was neither of those things. The heart-pounding events from the book translated to more of corny and over-the-top in the film. This is book I'd like to eventually see done right as a movie.
