Ryan A (au) wrote: What I got to say about "One Missed Call" is that it's not a good movie at all. The performances by the cast are so lifeless. The directing by Eric Valette is horrendous. The screenplay by Andrew Klavan is dreadful. "The storyline doesn't make no sense." The cinematography and the score in this movie is okay. "What I got to report is that "One Missed Call" is an terrible movie that is NOT a must see movie!"

Robyn M (it) wrote: Ray (Ted Dansonb) has to spend time with his son in order to get the coins back, this includes trips to a swimming park, a mini golf course and meals out, and for a while this is getting on his nerves, but actually over time the father is getting closer to and finding admiration for his son. Meanwhile the police are also trying to find the coins and catch the gang out, with Detective Theresa Walsh (Glenne Headly) going undercover to get close to the main man, and unintentionally falling for him.

Stephen J (mx) wrote: If not one of the most underrated movies ever, Shock Treatment is certainly the most underrated musical. True, it's not the tightest production. O'Brien derided it as "flawed" and "difficult to follow." Well I LOVE movies that are flawed and difficult to follow. The flaws give it it's character and the difficulty gives me a challenge. Should we damn the Ramones for being simple and sloppy? The Police for being cryptic? DEVO for being completely manic? A creepy, unsettling, paranoid, surreal atmosphere permeates the film as the lines between TV and "reality" are completely unidentifiable. It skewers, mainstream culture, suburban complacency, and so much more. It's one if the best songbooks I've ever heard and every number is delivered with more skill and heart than the Rocky Horror. It's like a musical of Truman Show, a decade earlier. There are so many gems in it. The politically correct, oafish cheerleaders; the bizarre color schemes; Janet's disregard for the fourth wall...I see something new every time I watch it. And my 13 year old son may be a bigger fan than me.In 30 years and countless rewatchings, I still haven't gotten tired of this movie or the great music that carries it.
Michael W (ag) wrote: Adequate time-waster has a newly developed nerve gas hijacked from a US base in Tel Aviv while the military attempts a cover-up. Ivy League-schooled, ex-Marine, best-selling author and Los Angeles Post reporter Dolph Lundgren backs up his impressive credentials by getting to the truth. Gamely reunites the stars of THE PUNISHER, although brought back down by weak female lead Lisa Berkley, who adds no depth or substance to her character in what would be her only role.
Sean G (jp) wrote: Zardoz is another of a long list of pieces of "art" that fail because the artist has been given too much freedom and perhaps believe their own hype too much. Writer/director John Boorman had great success with Deliverance and was given carte blanche to make Zardoz. The result is a painfully self indulgent, incoherent, boring mess. To make things worse the "ideas" in the film are undercut by many after the fact/adr explanations of the onscreen action. The movie would have been slightly better if it trusted the audience.
Emmet F (ru) wrote: Love this movie. Adrenaline pumping, emotional and so intense. If you haven't watched it, then do. If you have watched it, then watch it again.

Lionel H (ru) wrote: The Young Messiah is a beautifully crafted film and, while it does have it's flaws, the film is a feast for the eyes. A believable cast and a believable script are what make this film so enjoyable, Ignore the critics for they love to hate anything that isn't produced by big companies such as LicasFilm that will chllamef them. They do seem to get a good kick out of hating on everything. My wife and I really enjoyed this film. Worth a watch!
