Tom K (ag) wrote: it's an alright movie. the characters aren't really all that developed but you can see woody allen's roots buried beneath it all and to be honest...i did identify allot with Boris, in that i'm also very cynical and have a bitter look towards the world with it's religions, clichs and stupid people.. so i liked it. it's not Woody Allen's most brilliant movie. but it's an enjoyable sit.

Matthew D (fr) wrote: Sister Act has a great cast and a sizzling soundtrack, and a hilarious script with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and a rather ridiculous premise that somehow works. Goldberg's soulful and well-acted performance is a highlight, but possibly the greatest character of comedy pictures during the 90's, Kathy Najimy's hilarious and stirring performance as Sister Mary Patrick, a rousing and successful bumbling sidekick who stumbles along with pride, is the greatest achievement of the film's entirety. A great film.
Weul S (kr) wrote: Part Clash of the Titans, part Salo, this episodic film about the debauchery of ancient Rome is over pretentious, even for Fellini. Of course it's beautiful, but the story is lacking structure & the characters are caricatures at best. Honestly, this is arthouse dribble, ironically from one of cinema's greatest auteurs.
Jeff B (mx) wrote: I wasn't a big fan of this. It reminded me a bit too much of "Blazing Saddles"--with Marlene Dietrich's character--so that might have ruined it for me. It might require a re-watching when I'm more in the mood to handle it.
Albertus A (mx) wrote: Engaging, beautiful, well-acted, and even sad in a way. It is hard to think that a "talking" film with only 2 actors as its anchor can do this well, but it did. Was not as strong as Before Sunrise, and not as long as I would have liked it to be, but this was an amazing achievement in the art of romantic filmmaking
Ville V (fr) wrote: The whole film evolves like a carefully planned choreography from the beginning to the end. Interesting and fun as well, with good characters.
Spencer P (mx) wrote: The script makes a mess of both the plot and dialogue, but other than that, it's got a quick pace, beautiful visuals and sets, and a nice cast. [Original rating: 3.5 stars]
Tyler P (de) wrote: Coppola signe un putain de beau film. On frle le chef d'oeuvre. Sublime.
Jeff A (jp) wrote: Awful, simply awful and it's no wonder why David O. Russell took his name off the picture....a very game performance by Jessica Biel and even Jake Gyllenhaal can't save it!
