Private U (br) wrote: Another great movie from Hitoshi Motsumoto. I will say that you probably won't like it if you are not use to his comedic style. After seeing Big Man Japan and Symbol, I knew what to expect for the most part. If you saw it once and are on the fence, I recommend watching it again. It is funnier the second time... as with his other movies.

Lauren B (es) wrote: This movie is very good. It is a bit of a "Hollywoodititzed" version of Easter but good none the less. It makes me smile and shows a great example of the original Easter in the Bible who risked her life to save her people and followed God's instructions despite all trials. Tiffany Dupont is beautiful and is a very good actress, I hope to see her in other films in the future! Very worth watching and family friendly.

Shahna H (br) wrote: Funny, ironic, genius script--this story of bohemians in the underbelly of Paris makes fun of Bohemian cliches and melodramatic tropes without being cruel. There are some great moments of comedy in there.

Zachary M (ru) wrote: I don't think there has ever been a movie that is remembered for two such bizarre things; a brutal rape scene and a scene involving dueling banjos. But it does have a pretty unique and interesting concept behind it that often gets over looked: what if something bad happens to you, you take a brutal revenge, but the person you direct your furry at may not be the person who wronged you? And because of the violent rape scene this aspect is almost always overlooked now a days. And that is a shame, because the base idea itself is an interesting one and is worth a much more in-depth look at, maybe in a different movie.

Jonathan C (mx) wrote: Outside of the first one, these movies are forgettable with other action flicks doing a better job at mindless fun. Tons of fan service, but that doesn't save this one.
Ray C (it) wrote: This film was uplifting, heart wrenching, and at times very encouraging. The film showed the strength behind courage as well as perseverance, while continuously placing the protagonist in difficult situations. As well it highlights the power that one person has to make change in a society that may not be their own. Where it loses it's intrigue is it's lack of dialogue, which made an emotional connection to the protagonist that much more difficult. Plus it was difficult to relate to the Horse as it was placed in situations that we as humans would never face.
