Ricardo H (us) wrote: I think all shortcomings aside, the script was so powerful that it made up for everything else. This script in the hands of a good director and better actors would have made an Oscar-caliber movie. We are all entitled to believe what we want to believe, but when we take justice in our own hands to impose our beliefs on others, to the point of violence, when is it enough. Is revenge the answer? I definitely commend this movie

Demetrius N (it) wrote: Based on a true story Alan Rickman & Mos Def put in a great performance. The film is loaded with some other great B list actors like Kyra Sedwick, Gabrielle Union, Charles Dutton, and Mary Stuart Masterson. The story takes place right here in Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Carol R (au) wrote: This is one of my favorites. The greatness will escape you if you don't understand the kind of motherly love exhibited by Swoosie Kurtz's character, the determination shown by Bubble Boy to follow his heart, or all the ridiculous plot mechanisms that come together in the end. How can there be so many haters out there for such a light-hearted romp?

Sean D (de) wrote: Erm. What happened to my rating?

Scott R (au) wrote: preposterous even by this genre's standard. Merely ok.

Tim N (jp) wrote: Story compelling, knowing that it's based on true story. Movie-making not so much.

Felipe F (es) wrote: Extremely lengthy and controversial due to its racist point of view, Gone with the Wind is an overrated American classic that boasts technical prowess and superb acting - particularly Vivien Leigh's landmark performance as Scarlett O'Hara - while lacks historical accuracy or sympathetic heroes.
