A look at modern-day life in China's capital centered on a ménage-a-quatre involving a young woman, her boss, her husband and her boss's wife. Massage girl Pingguo (Apple) (The stunning Fan Bingbing) lives in a cramped apartment with her bad-tempered window cleaner husband Kun (Tong Dawei), barely eking by on their miniscule pay. When Pingguo gets raped by her boss Lin (Tony Leung) one afternoon, Kun, who is washing the windows of the building, witnesses the act. The enraged Kun tries to get even first by (unsuccessfully) blackmailing Lin, then by sleeping with Lin's wife (Elaine Kam). The relationships get even more tangled when Pingguo discovers she's pregnant. With the paternity of the baby up in the air, Kun, who is eager for money, strikes a deal with Lin, who is eager for a son.

Complex and long-term since it took 15 years to set it up correctly. Pretty good acting. Outlandish la Quentin Tarantino. Real-looking blood. Not likely to happen in real life, although similarly themed revenges are probably common.

This time instead of getting them wet to multiple you chop them up & they regenerate. Absolutely abysmal but I sorta suspected that going in. I was hoping for a little something since this was produced by Roger Corman. No such luck

I found this entry to be underrated, and I thought it was entertaining and funny for what it was. As far as sequels go, this is pretty good, even if it's not as good as the original. The cast of the original return, and they each bring effective performances that make this a worthwhile entry. The film at times does in some areas, but it delivers some memorable laughs and a good story. This would be the final good entry in the Revenge of the Nerds series. I really enjoyed the film, and though not as great as the first, it still is worth seeing. The film has plenty of good moments, and genre fans will surely enjoy this second feature. This is worth seeing if you enjoyed the first, but avoid the next two entries. I personally feel that the filmmakers should have stopped with this entry as it was a good conclusion to the first film. This had enough good on-screen gags to make it worth seeing and though far from perfect, this sequel is still one of the better comedy sequels that I have seen. Don't expect a film like the first one, but expect something familiar with added material to give it some form of originality. In this sense, Revenge of the Nerds will surely be a pleasant treat for fans of the origin al and it is a silly, yet pretty funny movie that is just mindless fun from start to finish.

Wesley G (au) wrote: Much better than 'Game of Death.' Bruce Lee's part was small, and only a double was used for a small portion of his bit. There is some excellent fight choregraphy exhibited, and by many who are not big-name people. The final bout between Tong Lung and the villain (whose evil demeanor is almost laughable) is lengthy and exhausting, as the two experts battle it out. The infiltration of the Tower of Death is a bit ridiculous, for it looks like an old set from a bad idea for a James Bond action flick (the henchmen's silver outfits were a bit too much as well).
