Lost in Beijing

A look at modern-day life in China's capital centered on a ménage-a-quatre involving a young woman, her boss, her husband and her boss's wife. Massage girl Pingguo (Apple) (The stunning Fan Bingbing) lives in a cramped apartment with her bad-tempered window cleaner husband Kun (Tong Dawei), barely eking by on their miniscule pay. When Pingguo gets raped by her boss Lin (Tony Leung) one afternoon, Kun, who is washing the windows of the building, witnesses the act. The enraged Kun tries to get even first by (unsuccessfully) blackmailing Lin, then by sleeping with Lin's wife (Elaine Kam). The relationships get even more tangled when Pingguo discovers she's pregnant. With the paternity of the baby up in the air, Kun, who is eager for money, strikes a deal with Lin, who is eager for a son.

Natasha R (ca) wrote: This is literally my favorite movie

Vuk S (us) wrote: A cute little Pixar short dealing with, what probably many people think is a pretty creepy subject: alien abduction. At times it seemed a little disturbing, but nevertheless everything was shown in a funny and optimistic way. I'd very much like to see a full feature.

Corpse M (au) wrote: i thought it was a great kung fu movie. Storyline was there and the fight choreography was great. If there were ropes you couldnt tell and moves had amazing timing and choreography. I still think ong bak and the protector are the best ever but this one is really good.

David R (br) wrote: It's bad it's not so bad it's good it's so bad it's awful

Shane E (jp) wrote: Wow. The best Batman film yet. A great movie period. It's great because it's so real.

Facebook U (it) wrote: Revenge story. Some evil rich boy loses cherish girl because of what someone said and set a complex plot of revenge. Complex and long-term since it took 15 years to set it up correctly. Pretty good acting. Outlandish la Quentin Tarantino. Real-looking blood. Not likely to happen in real life, although similarly themed revenges are probably common.

Thelma F (kr) wrote: i love any kind of black love on the movie screen favorite movie of all time my favorite movie of all time

Jim B (ru) wrote: A poor man from a small town in 19th century Britain who tries to break away from poverty and get an education meets problems at every turn. Kind of boring at times but comes to a horribly tragic end. Kate Winslet was superb.

Senor C (es) wrote: Harvey Korman must have needed a pay check because he is really slubbing it in duel roles (I hope he got paid twice) in this cheap Gremlins rip off. This time instead of getting them wet to multiple you chop them up & they regenerate. Absolutely abysmal but I sorta suspected that going in. I was hoping for a little something since this was produced by Roger Corman. No such luck

Alex r (it) wrote: Follow up to Revenge of the nerds is a pretty good sequel that is a silly good time. I found this entry to be underrated, and I thought it was entertaining and funny for what it was. As far as sequels go, this is pretty good, even if it's not as good as the original. The cast of the original return, and they each bring effective performances that make this a worthwhile entry. The film at times does in some areas, but it delivers some memorable laughs and a good story. This would be the final good entry in the Revenge of the Nerds series. I really enjoyed the film, and though not as great as the first, it still is worth seeing. The film has plenty of good moments, and genre fans will surely enjoy this second feature. This is worth seeing if you enjoyed the first, but avoid the next two entries. I personally feel that the filmmakers should have stopped with this entry as it was a good conclusion to the first film. This had enough good on-screen gags to make it worth seeing and though far from perfect, this sequel is still one of the better comedy sequels that I have seen. Don't expect a film like the first one, but expect something familiar with added material to give it some form of originality. In this sense, Revenge of the Nerds will surely be a pleasant treat for fans of the origin al and it is a silly, yet pretty funny movie that is just mindless fun from start to finish.

Seneca S (ag) wrote: I'm laughing. this movie is a klassic 80's junt.

Wesley G (au) wrote: Much better than 'Game of Death.' Bruce Lee's part was small, and only a double was used for a small portion of his bit. There is some excellent fight choregraphy exhibited, and by many who are not big-name people. The final bout between Tong Lung and the villain (whose evil demeanor is almost laughable) is lengthy and exhausting, as the two experts battle it out. The infiltration of the Tower of Death is a bit ridiculous, for it looks like an old set from a bad idea for a James Bond action flick (the henchmen's silver outfits were a bit too much as well).

Nathan W (gb) wrote: It was a good watch but it didn't do anything great for me, I would recommend people checking it out if you like any of the cast but it just gets a 3/5 stars from me.
