Claire T (gb) wrote: it was an good film but could have been better,I don't think I'll want the film on DVD, the film was ok and it starred Lorriane Stanley, Johnny Harris and Sam Spruell, It was an ok film but expected it slightly better

Layli U (de) wrote: I loved this movie - a heartwarming tale of two people from two completely different walks of life who are thrown together in a situation as a couple where they initially start off because they have to but eventually continue as Mr and Mrs Iyer because they want to!

Dennis S (us) wrote: Tom hanks was awesome and to gain 50 pounds in order to lose it over the course of making the film is dedication.

Adam E (it) wrote: Not much to say here, the acting was cringe worthy. The movie is just not up to par.

Dave J (ru) wrote: Tuesday, April 29, 2014 (1959) The Wonderful Country WESTERN Adapted from the novel starring Robert Mitchum who was also credited as executive producer as well. He plays Martin Brady delivering a truck wagon full of guns, until he cross paths with a couple of Mexican outlaws. Upon crossing through a town nearby, he ends up breaking his leg as a result of his horse throwing him off, frightened from being hit by a tumbleweed. While Brady is recuperating, he later finds out that the truck wagon full of guns ends up getting stolen without finding out the culprit who had done it. And begins to be accustomed to fall in love with the major cavalry's wife, Helen(Julie London). In this movie, somebody always want Brady for something since he has connections with some high regarded Mexicans. Viewers are oblivious how Brady became a citizen to Mexico in the first place and it is soon revealed that he's really a person of interest regarding a murder of a person who was said to have killed Brady's dad. Despite it's high production values, it still feels very limited on the amount of action it has, replacing it with implications, which can be very boring. Also, the ending felt rushed, but that can be the result of running going over it's budget. 2 out of 4 stars

Private U (ag) wrote: This movie was cast with three of the most professional actors in Hollywood resulting in a much better finished product than for what the script called. The action is top notch and Ford, Stanwyck and Robinson are dynamite together on screen. As usual, Stanwyck portrays a tough broad. But Ford carries the film with his no-nonsense acting. See this movie.

Sonoma H (jp) wrote: This movie was fantastic. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was brilliant and deserved more acclaim and Robert De Niro was the perfect foil Where else can you get two great actors in almost every scene and doing the brilliant work we know they can. I cannot imagine why Rotten Tomatoes voters gave it such a low rating. I watch films constantly and this one was riveting and brilliant from the first scene...
