Millo T (kr) wrote: The story is quite simple but effective, but the main achievement of this film is the use of images and mainly, sounds (not very frequent that theres silence, theres always a sound that means something and its related to the previous or latter sound) to express life in Tokyo, and the drama of characters you understand perfectly, and so on you understand they hate each other. So, good approaching, experimental but not so extrange as it could sound, not very complicated but, OK, interesting story, good actors, and good photography, and, as I have sounds, and even smell. Imprescindible for Assia-lovers.

Wayne H (ru) wrote: It is truly unique to see a western from 50 years ago that dealt with social issues such as rape and racism. This movie has a very strong plot and I enjoyed it very much. I've seen Woody Strode in a number of movies ... but, this was the first time that he had the title role. A bit of movie trivia -- Olympic gold medalist Rafer Johnson has an uncredited role in this movie as one of the Buffalo Soldiers. I highly recommend this movie to my FB-friends!
