Kat K (mx) wrote: A great depiction of the hardships of the shows start. It gives the audience a great idea on how ground breaking the show was, despite what little budget they had in the beginning. An amazing vision of how the show is compared from then to now.

Brian R (jp) wrote: Stupid premise, but kinda fun if you just don't think about it too much. Chris Pratt def shining in this film as was Christopher McDonald. Look for fun cameos by Tracy Morgan and Kim Kardashian (yes, now I must live with the shame of having seen a movie with Kim K in it)

Trevor F (us) wrote: not Disney's best. had some fun moments but overall pretty standard animated movie.

Chloe N (au) wrote: Liked this movie, had some really funny scenes. Is basically a sort of knockoff of a Guy Ritchie film, but very very funny anyway. Might be worth seeing just for the courtroom scene with David Wenham, he's fantastic in this.

The Penguins provide some nice side-laughs, and the arc of Alex the Lion is surprisingly funny. If this is the worst of the Madagascar series (which is often the consensus), then I'm somewhat curious about the sequels.
