Harrison Ford does so few movies these days that anything with him in it is automatically a perk-up to watch it, So, I was interested and it's not a bad movie. It could've been better, though. Cliff Curtis - who looks like a middleeastern Gerard Butler - was awesome as an immigration officer who is eventually uncovered to be involved in a mured involving his sister, who is set to be deported back to Iran along with the rest of the family. Or Iraq. One or the other.

Still cool 1950's monster movie after all these years. Kept my kids screaming until the end. Ray Harryhausen rocks!

Ray M (ca) wrote: One of the best classic gangster movies topped with a great cast ids priceless. In addition an outstanding movie soundtrack by one of the great music composers, Ennio Morricone. Filmed in many locations, but the iconic scene near the Manhattan Bridge remains as a favorite to many and the perfect scene near the Williamsburg Bridge on the brooklyn side, gives a true feel to the script of the struggles to create the lifetime bond of friends. One of the longest movies to watch, however the movie takes no shortcuts to tell the story as it should be told. ..... Sit back with a "Do not Disturb" sign and enjoy.
