(kr) wrote: Good, although Julila Roberts' star power may have been overpowering. Also feel like I've seen the "sue the big company" story before - A Civil Action. Albert Finney was good.

(gb) wrote: Fantastic cinematography, nice build-up of tension with a creepy atmosphere, and a terrifying climax. Throughout, I was left unsure of what was psychological and what was supernatural, and this was done in a more effective and much scarier way than The Babadook, which has more than a few similarities to this film. The balance of jump scares, frightening imagery, unsettling scenes, and psychological tension was perfect here. The biggest issue for me was I had some difficulty connecting to the main character - he seemed flat, though that characterization later worked nicely.I was neutral about the ending. It could have been stronger considering how great a film this was, but it definitely didn't disappoint me or ruin the experience for me.
