Jamie C (ru) wrote: A pretty average Statham film but Stallone was involved which made me more intrested, Although there's a few good action scenes I did expect a few more, Stathams acting has improved allot lately, The story was great and well told but its been done before, Worth watching but nothing new but Statham fans will like it.

Senor C (br) wrote: Slugs would make a nice bloody companion piece w/ Squirm. Hey it's from the same guy that brought us Pieces so you know it's going to be bad fun. Some pretty cools set pieces like worms blasting out of a guys heads after he ate a slug in a salad & some girl getting devoured naked after the slugs interrupt her fucking. Those killer slugs must be destroyed so basically they make up a concoction to burn the slugs & blow up a majority of the town via the sewers in the process. You would figure that everybody's toilet would explode. Why they didn't just dump salt on everything is beyond me..If you like atomic animal movies from the 50s there's no reason why you shouldn't like a nuclear slug movie from the 80s

Ian C (au) wrote: No Mario Puzo, No Richard Donner, No Hackman = pure pig skunk. Vaughan's character replaces Luthor but acts just like him. What was the point? The opening sequence is horrific. The return to Smallville is painful as is Kent's love interest. The ending really sums up this piece of shit.
Dervilla O (fr) wrote: Very outdated two character melodrama that belongs to the 1970s when transexuals were "novel". Usually I'm a fan of de Niro but didn't like him in this movie but thought Philip Seymour Hoffman was superb.
