Tor M (au) wrote: A slow paced film with loads of elements. Sometimes it's darkish comedy-like, but allways put in a true and sad setting. Georgy's life as truck driver is hard but he does his best to be a nice guy. A different road movie, that's really nothing like a road movie at all. It's hard to get a grip of it. New faces, new stories, earlier years, winter, summer - it skips, and it's messy. The atmosphere is great, the images are great and we get to see some very original filming. Still, longer shots are still a typical Russian-themed feature. I did not like the shaky cam thing, even if it gave a certain "being present" effect. Well acted, well made film. Too bad it's a bit of a mess - the way the story is told and presented that is. If you give it some time - meaning watching a new scene, or a "new part" for 20 minutes without catching the earlier connections you may hang on to it. It's possible, but it killed some of the film for me. I can also add that the ending was very nice, and so was the opening scene.

Gary M (ca) wrote: Not a bad movie. nice action. Nice drama. Not a bad storyline. I liked the special affects.

Matthew H (mx) wrote: Misleading title, great movie. Howard delivers an excellent film that is sure to inspire us all. Crowe's portrayal of boxer Jimmy Braddock is great, and luckily the movie forgoes the usual boxing cliches, albeit a bit long.

Logan M (ca) wrote: A thick, funny, and action-packed opus that surpasses just about any Marvel or DC comic book film.

John A (ca) wrote: Steven Seagal Stars As Mercenary, John Seeger In This Bullet-Riddled Path Of Vengeance After Being Blackmailed Into Staging A Prison Break As He's Double-Crossed In The Process.Typical Seagal Flick, With An OK, But Predictable Plot, That Seems To Be Overplayed. The Script Is Bad (Usual For A Seagal Flick), And The Acting Is Wooden, But It's The Elements Of The Action Sequences Which Makes This An Enjoyable Film.

Jeremy C (gb) wrote: This horror film had very fun kills and a twist ending. At least for how yo think it would end. GRADE:B
