Nathan M (br) wrote: Or The One Where You Fall In Love With Radicals...Directors Marshall Curry and Sam Cullman do a great job of crafting a story about radical environmental activist group, Earth Liberation Front, that makes you sympathize with arsonists. As the story unfolds you still see their actions as extreme, but you begin to understand how things went so far. Eventually the story becomes a story about one man's struggle to not fall into despair, and that's when the film really shines. As Curry and Cullman capture the trial of one of the members of the ELF, you begin to really care for him. It definitely is entertaining and educational, but it also is emotionally captivating.

Alberto Z (de) wrote: This bittersweet comedy about love is in line with great recent French movies such as Amelie... But Jeux d'Enfants is not trying to copy it at all. In fact, it is one of the most original movies I've seen lately. this film can make you laugh out loud in a minute and shed some tears on the next due to the extreme complexity of the feelings the director and the actors share with you. Nothing in this film seems exaggerated; it's a fairy tale of our time with a great dose of realism. The chemistry between the couple is simply perfect. Whether you like it or not, it's difficult to be indifferent to this movie and this is one of the best compliments a director can receive.

Lauren D (es) wrote: I'm a huge fan of gay romance (no idea why, I can't stand straight romance), but I didn't particularly like it. The acting was fine, and there was awesome music (Yazoo, Bronski Beat etc = yay), but it was just boring.
Cale R (es) wrote: Upon watching Madadayo, I got the impression Kurosawa didn't believe he would finish another film, and almost intended for this to be his farewell movie. It is a touching, beautiful finale to what is easily one of the most impressive and masterful directorial careers of all time. Being a big Kurosawa fan, the final scene was enough to get my eyes a little misty, and send shivers down my spine.

James Joseph L (gb) wrote: Bob Hope at his best and the bonus of a great Cagney cameo makes Seven Little Foys a truly great biopic. A true story of vaudeville entertainer Eddie Foy and his performing family is well acted by Bob Hope in his singing dancing and comedic element. The storyline/script is good too as are the production values. It's all very well done but above all it's entertaining from start to finish. Look out for James Cagney rekindling his oscar winning George M Cohen character from Yankee Doodle Dandy. The dance sequence between Hope and Cagney is something to see and treasure - two greats showing us their greatness. All in all, Seven Little Foys is fine entertainment that you will never tire of watching.
Patrick B (gb) wrote: This movie takes place in one park, and although sort of interesting, it's still a horrible movie. It's just a poor mans Leonardo Dicaprio making hundreds of phone calls and Stanley from the kids show "That's so Raven" playing an annoying kid talking to a criminal. It's just so repetitive and predictable I'm surprised I didn't turn it off. The acting was OK, some people did good, some did bad. Even though it sounds kinda like an action movie, it's not. Besides two or three people getting shot, there is no action at all. Overall, its really bad, but if you're looking for cheesy entertainment, it might be for you. Everyone else, don't watch it.
