After dreaming about suicide, she finds a lot of money and a very eventful day begins. Visionary director of "Last Life in the Universe" and "Headshot" helms a humorous tragedy that starts because a missing screw turns apartment 6 into apartment 9. Confusing ending.

Let's state the obvious here; Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the greatest actors living today and his performance in this is nothing short of legendary -- that much is absolutely true. However, behind "My Left Foot's" mesmerizing lead performance is a fascinating non-linear narrative, a sure-handed directorial debut, and a bevy of indelible supporting roles from the likes of Brenda Fricker and Ray McAnally. Again, this may definitely be Day-Lewis' movie, but that doesn't mean the struts supporting him aren't anywhere as impressive.
