Brad S (ca) wrote: This was a really funny satire taking on a risky subject matter, but the writing and cast pull it off. You can definitely see the influence on Tarantino for his "Inglorious Basterds" film. Jack Benny and Carole Lombard are great in this film directed by Ernst Lubitsch. This is definitely worth watching for classic cinema lovers!

Valeri I (us) wrote: I can't remember the whole movie because it's with so many parts and you must watch it to tell it whole. That movie makes the feeling in yourself get little bit real and maybe to feel it. It takes the points of the nature and shows them in somehow really nice and good way that the watcher can just watch and watch without thinking about anything and if something distracts the people they get angry on it because it confusing the concentration on the film. So emotional.
Alex r (ag) wrote: It's All Gone Pete Tong is a fun, entertaining comedy that boasts an impressive cast and is well directed by Michael Dowse, who previously helmed the Canadian Cult classic Fubar. Taking a cue from Fubar, this film has a mockumentary flavor to it, mixed with memorable humor. The film was surprisingly good considering that Dowse made such an absurd directorial effort with Fubar, and though that film was great, It's All Gone Pete Tong is a more accessible film for film goers because the humor and story is more consistent and more thought out, than Dowse's previous work. I really enjoyed the film, and thought it was a fine feature from Michael Dowse, who I felt greatly matured as a filmmaker. This is a must see for fans of the genre and it definitely has a well constructed storyline, laced with enough humor t5o keep you involved in the film's plot. Sure there are things that could have been done better, but overall this is a solid comedy that evokes mockumentary stylings perfectly. The comedy is great, the acting is terrific and It's All Gone Pete Tong is a well crafted movie that manages to showcase a directors evolution in the medium perfectly. I still feel that Dowse has made his best work with Fubar, but this is nonetheless a worthwhile effort from the director who's managed to craft a very different movie than his first outing. So, if you loved Fubar, you're sure to enjoy this film. Even if you didn't, give this film a shot as it may surprise you at how good it really is. The script is well thought out and the gags are wonderful and overall this is a solid comedy that is very well acted and directed.
