The mountain-dwelling Aetas have been forced to settle in the lowlands by the sudden eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. With their settlements being closer to the government-funded schools of the Kapampangan townships, the Aeta children now have the opportunity to study. Jonalyn, one of the elementary school graduates of the ceremony depicted in the confused introduction and an Aeta, seeks to teach her elders to read and write a day before the National Elections. With Jonalyn's effort, the Aetas, for the very first time, have participated in the democratic process that has existed in the Philippines since the early part of the 20th century. source: http://oggsmoggs.blogspot.com/2006/11/manoro-2006.html

Manoro torrent reviews

Larry W (us) wrote: W.. T.. F!! No Michael, theres a kid, and the Lycans are running everything!? And why aren't we in East Europe? Why are we in Seacouver? What about the great setup you left us with in Evolution!? This is how you ruin a franchise.

Gregory R (kr) wrote: A well-crafted, eye-opening stranger than fiction documentary.

Andre M (nl) wrote: Good story and very good acting. The absurdity of the hunt for "communists" the U.S. government did back in the 1950's has eerie parallels with today's hunt for "muslims". I'm thankful for people like Mr. Trumbo that stood up for human rights and universal human values.

Gabriel K (us) wrote: A story that ripped every line and issue from other movies. Visuals are good and my claustrophobic fears surfaced up. I guess that's something.

Jamie C (ca) wrote: Loved it really funny, Silly funny not clever funny.

Haresh D (us) wrote: Good plot, decent acting

Damon R (ag) wrote: One of the best sci-fi movies of the 80s. I enjoyed the boys' performances, the film score by the late Jerry Goldsmith, which I own, and ILM's visual effects. I had a blast when I first saw it.

James H (au) wrote: WELL WRITTEN FILM, DELIGHTFUL PERFORMANCES, I AM NOT A BIG RICHARD BENJAMIN FAN, BUT IN THIS HE IS GOOD.

Josh S (nl) wrote: Two "hold-up boys," Don Gregor and Vic Brady, get caught in the act, and Gregor is forced to shoot an ex-police officer. Brady plays it cool, but Gregor insists that they turn themselves in. "We're cop killers. They don't like that," Gregor explains. Brady shoots him and hides his body behind a curtain in the kitchen. Wishing to disappear to escape the police, Brady enlists the help of Gregor's father, a plastic surgeon who admits, "Plastic surgery, at times, seems to me to be very, VERY complicated." The surgeon shows up to give Brady his new face, but when he finds his son's dead body STANDING(???) behind a curtain in the kitchen, he decides to have a little fun with Brady instead. Two weeks later, Brady's bandages come off, and he's horrified to find whose face is underneath. "Jail Bait," Ed Wood's attempt at gangster film noir, is unintentionally silly, ludicrous, and terribly enjoyable. And despite what Wade Williams says on the back of the DVD, the script is far from clever. Other highlights include: an embarrassing racist Vaudeville act, laughably inappropriate Spanish guitar score, and Dolores Fuller who is possibly the worst actress in history.

Diana Z (gb) wrote: Fantastic subject matter, mediocre documentary. Worth seeing the highlights.

Tamu J (fr) wrote: This was funny but it reminded me of the so many movies they've done before on interracial dating/marriages. I was a bit disappointed.

John S (us) wrote: Unless you want to see Ewan MacGregor getting it on with three different girls, two of whom appear completely nude, this movie really isn't for you.I like MacGregor as an actor- just not in this movie. There didn't seem to be any sort of plot or anything to it. Sure, there was a dead body and a bunch of flashbacks and things, but they could easily have removed the sex scenes and one nasty bit of profanity and made this a PG-13 movie. What I mean by that is that the plot doesn't seem to be the main focus of the story, and MacGregor seems so cold and stone-hearted and hard to figure out (not in a good way) that the main focus isn't the characters, either. There are way too many insignificant aspects, the sex scenes being one of them. The Bottom Line: Ultimately, only fans of NC-17 material, and, possibly, die-hard fans of Ewan MacGregor will enjoy this one. And I'm still not sure why the movie was called "Young Adam".
