Roxanne R (jp) wrote: This one was just an average zombie film, lacks the budget of A-list star movies but still does a decent job of entertaining. After a disgruntled veteran unleashes a virus in an office building in order to expose a government secret, things do not go as planned. A group of uninfected survivors then attempts to escape the quarantined building and get to safety before it's too late. For a dollar rental at Redbox you cannot go wrong and good for a rainy day; otherwise skip it.

Rob R (de) wrote: At first I was afraid (petrified) that this was actually going to be 71 unrelated scenes of people generally being pissed off with no narrated reason, because the pre-credits sequence was a few dark scenes of silhouetted figures doing nothing particularly discernible but definitely depressing and probably eventually violent. But once the credits were over (the credits again not being a terribly promising sequence of progress along an autobahn) some semblance of a story, or rather, bunch of stories revealed themselves and it turned out to be a pretty decent flick.Very clearly in the same vein as the first two in this trilogy (I wonder whether they were planned as a trilogy, or whether Haneke just ended up making his first three films along pretty similar themes ?? if the latter, fair play on getting the funding for that) but also in quite a refreshing style ?? probably even more refreshing when it was made given the many ??fragmented?? films that have come out since.
Andrew T (br) wrote: There are some small issues I had with this movie but the only big one was Winona's choice at the end of the movie. I hated Ethan Hawke even more every time he was on screen, and while I'm not a huge Ben Stiller fan, he is definitely better than Hawke, in this case at least. But that's just bad casting in my opinion. The rest of the movie is very interesting and enjoyable to watch the lives of these recent adults that I can appreciate.
Lesley N (jp) wrote: Animated / live action kind of retelling of Songs of the South minus the cutes plus racism and set in Harlem gangster town. I don't really know what to say about this one. Interesting, different, satirical, ugly, unique. With Barry White as a boxing bear.
Randy T (it) wrote: I know that there is no such thing as the 'perfect film', but I it's hard to imagine how they could have made this one any better. The only thing that comes to mind is fixing Gene Tierney's annoying overbite. Maybe.

It's completely nuts, and towards the end i felt like it was perhaps a set up, but i don't put it past people out there to do what that lady did to Nev, it's sad but i understand why a human being would go to those lengths. Even though i'm not sure if i really 'enjoyed' this i think it has a rightful place, perhaps warning people of what could likely happen, and know that there's people out there on the internet that are a lot more dangerous than a disillusioned wife. The guys here seemed quite likable, it was paced well but the i found the intrusion into this lady's life quite disturbing in itself.
