Luke S (us) wrote: This movie obviously centers around the aforementioned Clutch Powers, a Lego government agent who I compare to a cross between Indiana Jones and Brendan Fraser's character in The Mummy. After returning to Lego City from his latest secret mission, Clutch is shocked and somewhat disappointed to find out that his boss has teamed him up with a few other agents for his next mission. Clutch is not happy about this as he is a work alone kind of guy. Joining him are the gruff fireman Brick, sexy biologist Peg, and the nerdy engineer Bernie. The mission in question is to go check on a breakout at the Space Police prison planet, where the galaxies' three most nefarious villains are held captive. Once there they learn that a breakout has indeed occurred and an evil wizard named Mallock the Malign is on his way to the world of Ashlar, where he plans to stage a takeover. The team must then find a way off the prison planet and get to Ashlar in time to help the new prince, Varen, get trained and get his army prepared enough to defend their homeland. But that's only half the problem, as through all of these adventures the team must learn to come together and appreciate each other for their own various talents. Needless to say the sailing isn't always smooth amongst the four of them. Do they have what it takes as a unit, to come through and save the good people of Ashlar? This was a fantastic movie, I really do wish they'd do more of them! I've loved Lego ever since I was a kid, and now that James is getting a bit older and is starting to play with Lego, it's having a bit of a resurgence in our house. Plus I've had all the Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, etc. games keeping me in the spirit all these years, the Lego universe really is a cool place to be. This movie is chock full of the humour that invades all the Lego video games, and the action is non-stop. There are some cool references to great sci-fi movies like Star Wars and Aliens that they built in to the plot. Me and James' plan now is to hit the Toys R Us and see if they have any Clutch Powers Lego sets!!

We enter the world of children & see the whole situation in Chile through their eyes by the true friendship which started between Pedro & Gonzalo. The film has very much to tell & I am going to say more when I watch it again

Justin A (jp) wrote: Sometimes weird, but mostly boring. Only really worth seeing for Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee sharing screen time together and Barbara Steele's crazy outfit.

Nick Murphy Verlierer (ag) wrote: A well told and very funny story about broken honor and the pursuit of redemption.

Rodney E (ca) wrote: Started off pretty strongly but never picked up the pace from there. While there was decent and interesting camerawork the acting by Goldie Hawn was pretty weak.

Blake E (nl) wrote: Just about as feel good as you can get (if you respect the film artform)

Jamie C (ag) wrote: Very silly and predictable but for what was on offer it wasn't that bad, It had a few funny bits and some great one liners that are still used today, As for the film itself it is kind of a mini classic but it wouldn't stand the test of time if released in todays cinema (2015)... Yes it took me 23 years to get round to watching it.

A Bubby who is discovering a whole new world to him were nothing is safe and not even God can help - quite the opposite actually. Yes, Bubby may be a crazy lunatic but you'll be surprized to see how he represents us all.
