Marley & Me

Marley & Me

A newly married couple who, in the process of starting a family, learn many of life's important lessons from their trouble-loving retriever, Marley. Packed with plenty of laughs to lighten the load, the film explores the highs and lows of marriage, maturity and confronting one's own mortality, as seen through the lens of family life with a dog.

After their wedding, newspaper writers John and Jennifer Grogan move to Florida. In an attempt to stall Jennifer's "biological clock", John gives her a puppy. While the puppy Marley grows into a 100 pound dog, he loses none of his puppy energy or rambunctiousness. Meanwhile, Marley gains no self-discipline. Marley's antics give John rich material for his newspaper column. As the Grogans mature and have children of their own, Marley continues to test everyone's patience by acting like the world's most impulsive dog. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Unfortunately it's so bad it's not even funny, or is it!! I'm not sure!! There's hardly any of the 50's classic music that saturates the other three films, and I'm not sure what type of army they join as the sergeant appears to be from india and the captain from the east end of London. (Although this is due mainly to the dubbing). It's worth buying the box set for a budget price as I did but you'll do well to sit through the 4th part (Private Popsicle). Possibly the worst film I've ever seen, although Guy Ritchie's Rock n Roller was in the running!

Wilhelm H (nl) wrote: Okay, that movie was obviously shot on a very tight budget, but it was not as bad as it could have been. Even if the story was almost non existent and the film seemed a little amateurish in some scenes , the actors did their best and made it watchable. Some shots of the Island of Puerto Rico were beautiful and looked stunning. Some other shots totally cheap. So it was okay and if you are a fan of the genre I am sure you've seen much worse before ;). It plays actually more on a psychological level than on actual "Zombie Horror" which can make it boring for some...

There were scenes that were very disturbing and too much balls and ass in the script. I would recommend this spy comedy and if the obscene scenes were taken out.
