Dan B (es) wrote: Grimly fascinating account of a rock n??roll (career) suicide. You don??t have to be a fan of either of the bands involved to be captivated by the contrast between image and authenticity, successful compromise and self-destructive integrity and, ultimately, between selling out and selling nothing. Not as beautifully structured a story as Anvil, but definitely worth a go.

Wonderful characters, wonderful actors in this quiet small town story about failure and subsequent redemption. Lovely sound track too. Mary Kay Place is marvellous.

I watched this as a kid and loved it, the story, action and characters of Remo and Chun always make me laugh, (I have been a life long Fred Ward fan ever since). I was able to show this to my daughters, and now they love it too. So that is why it always comes with a twinge of sadness when I watched it, cause I would have loved a few more movies to see where they took the characters. Too bad.

James H (nl) wrote: Rather minor comedy, Gary Cooper seems a bit miscast, but he is always good. Excellent supporting cast, good score and art direction. Cute but not very memorable, light and entertaining.

Jim M (de) wrote: When I saw it I thought they over did one aspect. Almost everyone in the film looked like that miserable hobo Festus Hagen from Gunsmoke
