The film strips away all the baggage of the musical genre to concentrate solely on the craft of the MC. It does get a little repetitive by the end as much of the same questions are posed again and again albeit to an array of stars.

The only reason I saw this to watch Lucy Hale and Freddie Storma. And not surprisingly these two are the only good thing in the movie too. Pretty Little Liar's Alum Lucy Hale is not only pretty but can also sings, dance and act well like another Disney' child. Freddie Storma the British lad is a heartthrob. Megan Park is alright being bitchy. Besides that there is nothing interesting or intriguing about watching this movie. This is as expected and as clichd as it could have been. Waste of time. Only for the Lucy hale and Freddie Storma fans.

It feels like most critics jumped on the hater bandwagon and didn't really give this a chance. Why would Hellboy (a movie I also like) be considered so fresh, and this one so rotten? Makes no sense. Sure the CGI can be a little much at times, but the costumes, humor, sets and story more than make up for that.

Allan C (es) wrote: Clint's painfully formula military film, where grizzles Clint whips into shape a group of undisciplined, snotty recruits (Mario Van Peebles among them). But who says formal films can't be entertaining? Although it's basically a 1980's update of "The Sands of Iwo Jima" it's an incredibly enjoyable film. This is essential viewing for Eastwood fans, but I'm not sure how much non-fans would enjoy the film (but really, who isn't a Clint Eastwood fan).

Evan H (de) wrote: It's a pretty brutal movie with Elizabeth Montgomery in a dramatic role as the girl that Johnny Cool uses. Sammy Davis Jr. has a cameo. The script is actually pretty powerful for a '60s flick...see it!

Leonard T (kr) wrote: While We're Young features a refreshing and unique comedic plot. Helmed by the experienced veteran comedian Ben Stiller, the show is kept lighthearted throughout ,and yet somehow evokes strong feelings of empathy towards the end after journeying with the main couple(played by Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts). While the ending might come abrupt and distasteful to many, leaving audiences disappointed, I liked the way Noah Baumbach steered towards the film's resolution in a more unorthodox approach, culminating with a twist followed by an outburst of emotions from Stiller at its apex.
