Jun-young (Kam Woo-seong) is a man in his early thirties who has seen his friends and younger brother get married but has yet to open himself to a serious relationship. Rather he is happy floating through life with little direction or ambition. Yeon-hee (Eom Jeong-hwa) is girl approaching thirty who is desperate to find a suitable husband, but is looking for a match based on social and economic suitability rather than love. They meet on a blind date and quickly find that they are incompatible intellectually, but have an instant physical and emotional connection. Both are extremely practically minded, and as such decide to explore each other by starting a casual physical relationship, while she continues looking for more suitable husband and he avoids commitment.

Eddie S (nl) wrote: So so. Could have been made much better..

Brad W (jp) wrote: Pretty unbelievable true story. Damon played the main role very well and they were able to add the drama/family aspect to the story. Scarlett was great and a few other decent supporting actors as well.

Damir A (ru) wrote: A decent low budget effort.

Charlotte M (de) wrote: Didn't really enjoy it, I found Mr Bumble quite intimidating to poor Oliver. Bill Sykes was scary and I don't really like musicals full stop. Don't know why I watched it really, but still a classic to many. This will not be appearing in my DVD collection, nor will I be rushing down to Blockbusters to rent it!!!!

Jesse F (br) wrote: It has a Hitchcock-like presence, along with jump scares, great performances and genuinely haunting antagonists.

Ted B (ag) wrote: If you like pool, and you like plot twists, this movie is fantastic!!! Great Cast, and even some humor.

Allan C (jp) wrote: Meh action/sci-fi/romance from the usually reliable director Tony Scott. Films directed by Scott are typical only as good as his scripts; "True Romance" or " Enemy of the State" being on the better end and "Beverly Hills Cop II" or "The Fan" being on the weaker end. This film falls on the weaker end, but like most of Scott's films, even the weaker one, it's still watchable and usually features a strong cast (Denzel Washington, Jim Caviezel, Val Kilmer, Adam Goldberg, Bruce Greenwood, and Matt Craven). The story here certainly had potential, involving a terrorist bombing investigation which ends up using time travel-like technology to unravel the mystery of the who was behind the bombing. I did like the idea of trying to come up with a plausible scientific explanation of time travel, but like a lot of time travel stories, this one ends up with some glaring plot holes. And I'm not sure I can lay blame completely on the script because the writers apparently blamed Scott for cutting out much of their script, instead focusing on action scenes and removing other section, which they said created the film's plot holes. Regardless of whoever is responsible for the weak story, the film is still watchable and reasonably enjoyable, particularly if you're a fan of Denzel, though this film could certainly have been better. Watch "Timecrimes," "Primer" or even "Looper" if you want a real mind bending time travel film.

Art S (nl) wrote: Sullen Stanley Baker arrives at the gate of a trucking company looking for work. He's willing to take the job, despite the clear pressure to break road rules to deliver as many loads as possible each day. Rough tough and possibly insane Patrick McGoohan is the pacesetter (18 loads per day) and foreman who won't stand any competition - and will sabotage another driver to keep his status. Herbert Lom is gentle "Gino" the Italian immigrant who befriends Baker and Peggy Cummins is their love interest. Cy Endfield directs with panache and this is a truly taut tense tough and gripping affair. Who knew delivering rocks could be this exciting? (Maybe Clouzot did - but he had nitroglycerine as the load in The Wages of Fear). Great cast of British character actors and stars-to-be (including young S. Connery).

Laura D (nl) wrote: Not the finest film. Any teen or person in their early 20s when this movie was released has probably seen it. The soundtrack is awesome. A guilty pleasure film.

Andrew O (br) wrote: There's a lot of impressive work and exciting dialogue here, helped by the actors, the writer, and the director; but its up to the viewer to decide whether there's any meaning to it aside from the straightforward.
