Elliot S (kr) wrote: This is the most amazing movie I've ever seen! It truly touches my heart and brings me to tears when I see mega shark jump out of the water and eat a plane! The animation and special effects in this movie are amazing! They're so realistic that it gives Avatar a run for it's money! For some reason some people think this movie is cheesy and bad or they think it's funny but I don't understand how people don't start bawling when mega shark eats the golden gate bridge! It's a touching, sad, and thought-inducing movie that teaches wholesome lessons to the whole family!

Ian V (de) wrote: Very well-done mockumentary. Lee does a great job of creating a real world for the first two acts, so the third act is suitably tense, because you believe that it's all really happening in spite of yourself. Enjoyable entertainment.

Darren H (de) wrote: Terrible film but very sick and bloodthirsty. Banned in the UK.

Benjamin L (au) wrote: Julian Sands is an awesome bad guy. This is a pretty good horror movie with a little blood and gore.

Ross M (au) wrote: 13 Ghosts has the problem of being the sibling of House on Haunted Hill and The Tingler, the former being a stone cold classic with a wicked sense of humor, the latter being a Vincent Price tour de force that is far more fun than it has any right to be. That said, there's plenty of good to be found in 13 Ghosts including a winking performance by Margaret Hamilton (The Wizard of Oz), and some neat ghost effects. 3 stars

Marischa B (it) wrote: There are defects early on that hint at the writer/director failing to understand the subject and not knowing where he's going. Characters have flaws, defects, and strengths that simply don't fit. The acting, setting, filming, and atmosphere, however, make up for it. The story, minus the little defects, is also well told and creates immersion and suspense. Then, maybe in some attempt to become more of an action/suspense film, it becomes nearly a constant clich and nonsensical for the last third. The filmmaker has talent as a director, but really needs help as a writer after the initial idea and plot development.
