Nick A (mx) wrote: Though visually well made, the amateurism shows in the acting and in some exaggeratedly dumb scenes (check the worshipping stuff). I'm not going to suggest this movie to anyone but to true fans of cult sects, satanism and crap like that.

Mark R (ag) wrote: Warning this DVD at blockbuster featured Jesse Eisenberg's face. He was only in the movie for like 4 minutes at the beginning. It's a bait and switch.

Arslan K (mx) wrote: hands down the ONLY good Bollywood film ever.

William R (br) wrote: Robert Redford and his stellar cast raises interesting questions but it's overall very heavy handed in it's political messages

Dan M (es) wrote: Fascinating, informative, sad, and when you have Morgan Freeman narrating it makes it even better. I was kinda hoping he'd name one of the penguins Andy Dufresne.

Aaron M (kr) wrote: This was a really neat idea that unfortunately left a lot to be desired. 11 different directors from around the world combined to make 11 short stories revolving around the events of september 11th. (10 fiction, 1 based on true events). The two I wanted to see the most ended up being two of the weaker ones unfortunately. My favorite director of the moment Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu from Mexico delivered, very surprisingly, the weakest one of them all. Quite frankly, it was pretty lazy. There wasn't much to it at all. Literally a black screen with audio for more than half of it. I expected a lot more from a guy who makes such unbelievably epic movies. I guess short vignettes aren't his thing. And from the United States, Sean Penn delivered a story that was far more creepy than anything else, and that has nothing to do with the events of 9-11. Old guy creepy. Which brings me to my main point about these stories. The events of 9-11 are more a bit player in the background than directly tied to many of these stories. Not quite what I expected out of a movie called September 11th. Still, it was interesting to get a global perspective on the event, even in fictional form. Africa was the most amusing, India was probably the best overall, and Japan was by far the most odd. Can't really say I'd recommend this one though. It wasn't nearly as compelling as I had hoped.

Marion G (ag) wrote: Joyously silly sequel, with Jolie again throwing herself into the part of Lara Croft. Energetic, action-filled, looks and feels like the video game. Perfectly watchable.

Luke H (de) wrote: A cheap space flick about haulers that find themselves lugging a cargo of killer robots, but it's also intriguing that the female lead spends most of the film walking around wearing next to nothing

James B (fr) wrote: This was pretty good. I don't think I saw this when it originally came out. It is a bit dated to be honest, and a bit campy, but it's a decent action flick.

Fong K (fr) wrote: An uncomfortably honest dramedy that tells the complexities of friendship, sex and sexuality in the maddening testosterone-driven university days.

Devo K (us) wrote: A perfect disaster film.

Josh F (ca) wrote: Weird as shit, but somehow interesting. Cleveland rocks.

Helen B (gb) wrote: Not quite classic Bette Davis - I prefer her being a bitch! However, this is a great Hollywood weepie and yet again Ms Davis shows why she's so highly rated as a character actress.

Jesse T (nl) wrote: An entertaining look into the male psyche--well, at least the psyche of males preoccupied with adolescent concerns.
