Max has finished school and is becoming an adult. He is on his way to find a life outside his mother's overprotective wings. When he meets Kaya, she gives him the final push to become independent and finally to move out. He moves over to his father but ends up as a lodger at the neighbour Steen Kold. Max would like to go to the Roskilde Festival with Kaya and gets help with the tickets from Steen Kold who is also coming along. Mom is afraid of what will happen to Max, so she decides to follow him and Steen Kold. This leads to many poignant and incredibly embarrassing episodes deeply rooted in her great love for her son, but also in her desire to still be in the centre of his attention. . If you like found footage films, this one is no worse than any of the other ones out there....in that most of them are pretty lame. A couple of decent jump scares.Phase 4 is known for OK horror concepts, they just seem to lack the budget to really execute them well. Moral of the story, if you use a Ouija board, always say goodbye.

Mara C (ru) wrote: A lot of the dialogue comes across too much like a play. The performances are good, although the lead is a little wooden. Not a bad offering for a Canadian Independant filmmaker.

Tailor made character/storyline for his charmingly hammy and wicked style of acting, with a cast to die for. A veritable whos who of British acting have fun galore in a movie that must have been as entertaining to make as it is to watch, never dull for a second and a textbook lesson in balancing dark humour with horror.
