Dan G (es) wrote: The story is one of the modern western world: "Let's take our moral compass and distort it to satisfy our instant emotional impulse." We see what happens when the world looks at Superman as "old fashion" because he embraces morals and values; and we see what happens should Superman ever conform to the modern mentality.

Trent R (es) wrote: Can't really say much b/c I could not stand listening to the dialogue in this. Michael Berryman and Mickey Jones tormenting the terrible cast could have been amusing, but that is not what you get. Instead, it is the pretty people wandering about yammering at each other endlessly and not dying.

Lee (ca) wrote: This Japanese sci-fi action thriller may lack originality but it still manages to be a very entertaining movie! The story consists of a young woman from a war-torn future who travels back in time 82 years to 2002 to prevent an alien invasion of earth summoning the help of a local hitman. It's got some super-cool action sequences and fairly decent special-effects. The bad guy is absolutely ruthless and the heroes are likable and excell in ass-kickery. It's Takeshi Kaneshiro at his most coolest! A must-see for sci-fi action fans.

Chris S (it) wrote: It is pleasant to see Russell Crowe, who usually portrays overly masculine characters, play a gay character as it shows his sensitive and gentle side. And it would be great to have a dad like the one here who is very understanding of his son's sexuality and totally unashamed of who his son is. The father and his son also have such a close bond and a healthy relationship. Besides that, the film is quite average and the self-reflexivity makes the film seem less realistic.

Allan C (br) wrote: Cheh Chang and the Venoms are back, but I'm not that big a fan of kung-fu comedies and didn't care for this one as much as I do their other more serious of films. In this film three refugees become blood brothers, but when one of them is wronged by their master the three seek revenge. Still, any film featuring the Venom Mob is going to have some excellent fight sequences and that make this film well worth watching, particularly one fight sequence early in the film that takes place at a gambling house. Stick with Jackie Chan if you're looking for kung-fu comedies that actually work, but the fighting in this film is enough to carry the weak comic elements.

Originally the Beatles were slated to co-star but became really really successful and expensive so instead we are given Frankie parodying them as The Potato Bug. Another great serving of sand and surf with a sidedish of drag racing thrown in for good measure. Plus there's a guy in a monkey suit, how cool is that.

Danny B (de) wrote: This movie is stupid. If you were a fan of the show, then you know that's what was so good about it. This movie is fan service for those that liked the show. All the key characters are back. The majority of this movie is based around a giant party. You'll remember how awesome Thad is as a character and how the actor plays him perfectly. At the end though you might be bummed to know that this very well could be the last time we see BMS.
