(au) wrote: I remember this movie got delayed, re-titled and then was swallowed in the Titanic hype, but I actually dug the heck out of it. The movie is in 100% rain, so you always feel the sense of drowning. A lot of jet ski chases are fun. The cast is pretty good. Nice to see Freeman as a bad guy once in awhile. Slater holds his own too and Driver is fantastic. I think this a forgotten gem for Betty White, as she's just as great here as in anything else she did.

(fr) wrote: Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon leave it all on the screen in this crime drama. They meet, fall in love, and plan to liberate a mafia family from $2 million. Of course, things don't always work out as planned. Well acted and scripted. A very good caper movie.
(ag) wrote: Not the best film the world has ever seen, but the action IS some of the best in the world has ever seen!! and the plot isn't that bad either. Also it's a period piece so you gotta give it credit for that. It has 3 leading men as the stars (although they were pretty new stars then) -- the Three Brothers (Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao)! This is the movie the movie that blew the doors down on what Hong Kong productions can be.
