Luke S (de) wrote: This movie revolves around three adolescent house flies named Nat, Scooter, and I.Q. They are always talking about going on an adventure together and one night after Nat talks to his grandpa about some of his own past adventures, Nat gets it in his head that he and his friends will hitch a ride on the upcoming shuttle launch that will supposedly land man on the moon! Their plan succeeds, but when they find out that what they thought was going to be no more than a few minutes ride is actually a week long expedition, they may just have bitten off more than they can chew. Not only do they have to survive daily life inside of the spacecraft and all the pitfalls it entails, but a sect of Russian house flies are angry that the Americans beat them to the moon and are bent on the expedition's failure. What I really like about this movie is that the events take place around the actual Apollo 11 expedition that first landed on the moon in 1969! All three astronauts are represented in CGI form and both Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong lend their voices to their characters. What was also impressive about this movie is that although it wasn't produced by one of the bigger companies like Disney-Pixar, DreamWorks, etc., it was still a really fun movie. I'll admit it wasn't as funny and as polished as the movies from those bigger studios are, but it was still a really cool idea and was a pretty well executed film. There was a decent amount of voice talent involved too.

This is a story that may relate to some of us, a serious subject, the living of a life we fell into, and for moral obligations we don't live but survive. Nonetheless it is told in a light, funny way. This film is filled with little episodes that will find you laughing full heartedly and walk away from it with maybe a few questions about the way we live.
Robert S (ru) wrote: a underrated modern noir with some snappy writing that gets alot of crap for being xenophobic by people looking for more shootouts and moral hand holding. Possibly Connery's best character performance.
Katie W (ru) wrote: it was a good movie for the most part, it's not a stereotypical as you may think and the beginning is heartwrenching, brought me to tears, Ben Affleck is phenomenal.
