Overall it's a good film about the hardship of illegal immigrants but it's nothing extraordinarily superb or memorable. It's very well acted and the writing is solid, but overall I just found the film to be a bit too dry; and none of the characters were quite and likeable or interesting to follow as the writer probably intended them to be

Everyone else seems to emote around him. Cooper is okay I suppose, but he's not really my cup of tea. This mistaken identity plot just runs through the whole 90 minute playing time, and it somewhat bores out quickly. But it's somewhat refreshing to see Cooper as a not-as-good-as-he-thinks gun slinger who is confused with another gunslinger initialed MJ. . Not the greatest western ever, heck it's not very good

The film as a whole is merely average for the era, which means it is entertaining enough but fairly unmemorable. It reminds one of all the other show business pictures of the era, but has enough quirks of its own to set it apart, at least a little. It's actually fairly hilarious. I'm not sure this was the message Hollywood meant to bring us, but it is patently obvious the whole way through. 5: It's rather amusing that the parents can't believe they've sired a Catholic gay child-molesting priest. 2

After each seeing, you can't open your mouth for 15 minutes. Pure objectivism. Pure journalism

A weak attempt at a vampire thriller

None the less, X-Ray is a quiet, straight forward film that sheds light to a subject that has and will continue to effect us as modern terrorism has become prevalent to all our lives. Kirsten Stewart is cold, silent, and emotional throughout, carrying this movie the majority of the times as her surrounding cast (save Peyman Moaadi, the inmate she interacts with) offers very few contributions. A drama centered around an army guard stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Camp X-Ray is slow paced at times but still delivers a powerful piece in this post 9/11 era
