Tiberio S (nl) wrote: Visually exorbitant, majestic, eyeful. Deals directly with subjects I've just been researching in NOVAs Time documentary; entropy, string theory, multiple outcomes, past present future occurring simultaneously, turning clocks back, moving from order to disorder in universal expansion. Themes I'm dealing with in everyday life like choice, flipping coin, what could've been, damning myself for stupid mistakes. All of these are depicted with such relevance that I'm far beyond looking at it as a mere film, but I'm really caught up in what the dream state is trying to tell me, how this is a message in a vast universe meant to speak to me in a way that's still mysterious. Jared Leto is sensational, as is everyone. The physics of the film just take me, I lose myself in the concepts.

Danny S (ca) wrote: Better than most of the crap cranked out by the Sci-Fi channel, CGI is average and the commandos get ripped apart like every other horror movie. Coolio provides comedic relief.

Matthew J (ag) wrote: A marvellously funny Noel Coward classic. Well worth the 88 mins...

Keith R (gb) wrote: One of the most beautifully photographed movies ever - Asia Argento is INCREDIBLE!

D M (ag) wrote: A very dark (vetsploitation?) drama (listed as horror on Netflix?) about a down-on-his-luck Viet Nam vet which takes place over the course of two days. His slow decent into madness is due to atrocities he witnessed (caused?) and then the atrocities he suffered caused by the Viet Cong (or maybe his own people?). He has a retard baby at home. Troma symbol scared me, but I read they had nothing to do with the producing, directing, casting, scripting, etc - just distribution - so that is allowable.

Dale H (es) wrote: William Holden's finest performance, by far. Holden plays a principled executive and the perfect father and husband who refuses to sacrifice quality products just to make a few dollars more. June Allyson plays every man's dream wife, supportive of her husband as he makes a stand. A triumphant film bristling with all the things that made America great.

Mark S (us) wrote: Why didn't they just administer a truth drug to the bad guy to get the locations of the bombs from him...just saying ?

Ross L (it) wrote: Most of the cast was great. It took me awhile to except Jeffery Wright as Muddy Waters, but I eventually did. Adrian Brody is still a great subtle actor. As for the story, there wasn't much to it. It was more of just a history lesson, which is ok by me. Music was great. 2008 Movies 152
