Jason D (de) wrote: Oh boy, was this movie a chore to watch! Parts of the Family (the UN-tromatized version that I watched, unfortunately) is about a bank robber on the run from the cops who takes a beautiful woman hostage (Cecilia Bergqvist, who lets the titties hang out a good portion of the movie) within a run-down mansion that she takes care of. Little does the bank robber know, the woman is slightly psychotic as she killed the entire family who lived there and is a witch that raises their bodies from the dead (mummy/zombie hybrids) to attack the robber, as well as all of the policemen outside (including hostage negotiator Lloyd Kaufman). Like I said, this movie was tough to watch, though occasionally, the excessive gore and titty shots manage to help move things along. The acting was beyond atrocious (everyone is clearly Belgium, yet they all spoke their lines in English, which added to the hilarity). Silly awful movie. There is, of course, an altered Tromatized version that features the likes of Ron Jeremy, Debbie Rochon, and Tiffany Shepis, which manages to be about half a star better than the original. Watch it with friends and beer to really enjoy it.

Kelly K (br) wrote: This was not what I expected at all, it fell flat in way of explanation. There was so much left untold yet the plot dragged on and on. I kept waiting for something, anything to happen but nothing ever did. I was very disappointed because it seemed to have such potential.
Sandra V (au) wrote: Just terrible. Everything you'd expect from a clichd, poorly written, badly acted, cheapy '80s sword and sorcery movie. Grace Jones looks spectacular but she can't act and Mako sounds like he's on the toilet.

Hannah M (ru) wrote: My siblings and I had never seen a Martin and Lewis flick. We'd seen Martin and Lewis separately, in other films, but never together. So I figured it was about time we saw one. (It was coincidence that we ended up with this - their first.) With most of the comedy teams of the old movies (well, okay, and the comedy teams of the new movies too) you've seen one, you've seen 'em all. This is probably the case with these too... but hey, it was pretty good entertainment while you were watching! It did have a moment or two that made me laugh out loud, and those alone made the movie worth seeing.

ANDERSON G (kr) wrote: "Frenzy" There's all the mood we've seen in hundreds of Hitchcock movies, a murder, a mystery, an investigation, and so on. Not that this is bad, because Hitchcock knows how to create a tense and manipulate the signs like nobody, and this is certainly not his best film of the genre, but it is a mature film, and that has its charm. We have here the story of Richard Ian Blaney (Jon Finch), a former military man who has serious financial and temperament problems, and when he realizes he is the main suspect in a wave of murders taking place in London. The script is based on a book, and there is nothing new or revolutionary about it, with many loose ends and continuation problems, yet it catches the viewer, does not charm, but distracts and amuses. With a beautiful photograph, beautiful soundtrack, and great camera angles, including some beautiful sequential plans and spectacular aerial footage for the time, technically the film is incredible, although some cuts are visible in scenes that give some continuation problem. All on-screen performances are very good, and here we have a Hitchcock already on his way to the end of his career without losing the good level of his work. "Frenesi" has a good comedic relief, great direction and a script that only pleases, with some problems already mentioned, "Frenesi" will not be among the best films of Hitchcock, but still, and a good movie.
