After watching about ten minutes I was convinced I had got it mixed up with another film because this movie had not whown the slightest hint at being a comedy and seemed more like a serious drama. However after a while the movie took a complete turn to comedy. Although I laughed at several occasions, I'm wondering if maybe the movie would have been even better if it had sticked with the serious mood since it did it so well. Anyway this was a really nice goofy movie which featured some interesting new perspectives on the ghost genre. The movie was a bit too long though.

(ru) wrote: A thriller with great actors such as Halle Berry, Kurt Russell and David Suchet. Steven Seagal also had a small role as a special forces commander. David Suchet, who is famous for his portrayal of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot, is the bad guy of the movie. The plot isn't very original, its rather predictable and not quite as exciting as I had expected, but it was entertaining because of the actors who played their parts well. The film made me wonder about religious prejudice/fanaticism and the existense of such hazardous substances as the one in the movie.
