Charlie L (gb) wrote: One of the better movies that chronicles the life and motivation of Pete Rose. The general public sees a sports figure brought down by his gambling addiction. Reasonable baseball fans know Rose as one of the most ferociously driven players in baseball history. Perhaps one day there will be a big budget, high-quality production about the life of Pete Rose - but until then, this movie helps to recognize his amazing achievements, and a hit record that may never be broken.

Navheen K (gb) wrote: Quite a gripping thriller...young Clint Eastwood rules the roost all the way.

Marc R (ru) wrote: "Nobody's perfect," Joe Brown says at the end. This classic comedy, however, very much is. The camera never swooned harder for Monroe than it did here. Curtis and Lemmon are equally sublime. An inspired romp of knowing cynicism, quirky comedy, and tender romance. Wilder just does no wrong.

Ethan H (mx) wrote: Really deserves better than what it got. While not the best film out there, it also is a welcome addition to the Christmas genre after so many worse ones.

Dave S (us) wrote: I saw this in the red box and rented it on an impulse. I enjoy cheesy horror movies from time to time and tonight I was down for one. This one was pretty good! I mean it was a low budget horror movie so you have to take it for what it is. But overall, it was pretty well done, it had enough scares and jumps and cleverness about it to keep me amused throughout the movie. It was fun. The characterization was pretty decent. The acting was fair enough for a movie of this caliber. I just had some nyquil and I'm about to eat a piece of strawberry cake. Im glad that I rented this from the Redbox. It was worth it.
