(es) wrote: Interesting. The Mitt portrayed here is actually a funny guy, a lot more likeable than his public persona.
(nl) wrote: A disappointment in terms of screenplay writing, Editing and music. There are so many loose ends, dragged out sequences and unnecessary song sequences the film could have done without. The lead roles are also so hazy and undefined that the actors get almost no scope. The only interesting part of the film is the well shot historical sequence. In short, the run time is too long and the story too thin to make a good film.

(jp) wrote: decent horror thriller. though I must say the end was relatively predictable, I liked the way that it seemed to have reached the end when Christy makes her peace with Vanessa and then there's one last twist and that leaves her having to decide what to tell Amy about what really happened to her mother.

I think it was supposed to be Chuck Norris' transition from martial arts to Hollywood action-comedy, but I guess it never completely caught on. But it was enetertaining enough for a 9 year-old...

(mx) wrote: For a film that feels so immediate, so detailed and straight, it unfolds like a shadowy and oblique dream in a familiar environment.
(ag) wrote: A Bergman classic! Splendid performances in front of a harmonic context and at the same time dark conducted by an incomparable genius of cinema, Ingmar Bergman. The film chronicles the journey of a small family that is seen collapsing in a delicate situation: crisis of madness of Karen, the wife of the doctor Martin. With philosophical dialogues and moments of tension, Ingmar Bergman directs and writes a splendidly wonderful family drama, in one of his best masterpieces!

(de) wrote: Cagney is excellent as always, but there's something about him being an agent rather than a gangster that just doesn't sit right. Still a very watchable early gangster pic with a good amount of action.
