Tim G (nl) wrote: Very interesting indie movie. Definitely very provocative.

Kyle G (fr) wrote: Joaquin Phoenix is Max California. Nicolas Cage is a determined sweetheart. This is one of Joel Schumacher's best films. It's as unpleasant as it should be.

Jarrett G (ag) wrote: This movie just didn't stand up to time when I saw it in 2014. I don't think this movie advanced any careers.

Gene N (ag) wrote: this is surely one of the bestest movie of Salman Khan and it is a treat to watch Salman in this is just an awesome movie and must watch for all Salman Khan fans

Aaron C (au) wrote: Not one of fulci`s best, the over reliance on spaggeti western camera shots and angles border on parody, it is fun to watch how when a simple insert shot or cutaway would suffice fulci instead chooses to create epic camera shots involving tilts with and focus shifts to highlight the slightest thing ie a clock ticking a heart machine beeping, thats part of the fun this slight story should be forgotten,( it seems to be ripping off the poorer exorcist 2 movie) but this loopy camera work and straight faced stupidity has its own unique charms.

KJ P (ca) wrote: Building off of "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes," Battle does for this series what many great sequels have done in the past, making the set-up even better once you get to the action. Everything that happens in this film is for a purpose, even if it brushes through everything quickly due to it's very low budget. The budget has been noticeable in this entire series, and that has always been a downfall, but I rather enjoy how everything looks at times. Every one of these films had their one moment to shine, and this film delivers more of that once again. Sure it's dumb and lazy at times, but it's a satisfying conclusion to a very up and down series. This saga was very enjoyable.

David S (jp) wrote: Film spends more time focused on the rivalry between the reporters and the love story than the actual mystery/suspense sections. It's a juggling of tones and themes that sometimes works well and sometimes is too broad (usually in the love story sections).

Cory W (au) wrote: I feel like the dislike for this film has grown more as a backlash for Peter Jackson's work on the Hobbit films. I feel the extended edition is excessive but the theatrical cut is entertaining especially. The effects are still solid 12 years later, it's well acted(even with the miscast Jack Black), and it's gorgeously filmed. I'm a monster movie fan so my opinion is a bit subjective, but it doesn't make it wrong when it, comes to a quality filmmaking.

Dragan M (ag) wrote: Potpuno modernizovana verzija koja ipak ne deluje tako nakaradno kao asfaltni Roomeo i Julija...

Nandan T (nl) wrote: I didn't like the ending. Other than that a good film. Nice suspense and acting from Rosamund Pike & Ben Affleck.

James C (nl) wrote: Slow building, but hysterical drama regarding industrial relations, unions and international trade. While Ian Carmichael is the lead, the supporting cast of Peter Sellers, Terry Thomas, Richard Attenborough and Margaret Rutherford really steal the show. Made in England in 1959, it's interesting to note the racial terminology which would be offensive today and the strong poke taken toward the union workers who are portrayed as lazy slobs that are bilking the companies.

Luca D (es) wrote: Visto ma come non averlo fatto, diciamo che tutto gira un po' male e non convince .

Mark N (ca) wrote: Aping Star Wars will always show you up when it comes to quality and the shameless shot-for-shot effects are both poor and show how much skill the original scene must have taken. The ships are actually rather detailed, if inexpertly shot, and help sell the movie but jar when compared to the terribly flat and under-dressed stage sets. The campy, stilted dialogue is hilariously bad and makes for high grade bad-movie watching fun.
