Dann M (it) wrote: Delivering plenty of laughs, InAPPropriate Comedy is outrageously hilarious (and a bit offensive). Rotating between a series of sketches, such as The Amazing Racist, Black-Ass, and Flirty Harry, the film pushes the boundaries of racial and sexual humor. While some of the comedy crosses a line, a lot of it is over-the-top hysterical. Additionally, the cast features some good comedic talent, including Lindsay Lohan, Adrien Brody, Rob Schneider, and Michelle Rodriguez. InAPPropriate Comedy will definitely offend, but the ridiculousness of it all makes it kind of funny as well.

Gaspar O (jp) wrote: Ya know, I thought this was gonna be good, or at least funny. It really was neither. Mos Def had about 17.4 seconds of camera time so I'm not real sure why he's front and center on the poster. I would only watch this again if I lost a bet or someone forced me to at gunpoint...and wow was the end stupid...and most abrupt. Still, it must have briefly entertained me at some level because I'm very generously gonna stick with two stars.

Patrick G (it) wrote: i always enjoy Mr. Thornton in a non-Hollywood film, and this was no exception. while it didn't really "speak to me," i thought it was well-made and -performed. i noticed thematic elements of Shane in it, and for a deep South drama, i thought it was a LOT better than David Gordon Green's Undertow.
Keith P (us) wrote: As seen on "Mystery Science Theater 3000." I'm sure both Robert Ginty & Persis Khambatta are looking up with eternal shame & watching this film on an loop. Joel Robinson only had to watch it once! (& he escaped eventually.) Which flaw should I pick first? Misspelling "perimeter"? All flora (& maybe fauna) intact after an apocalypse? Firearms with squirty, electronic noises? "The Paper Chase" guy's incoherent speech? Einstein, the talking bike? As for the positives, there was just one: Megaweapon. Granted, it was just a souped-up dump truck, but it squashed Einstein. (Forget that Einstein was repaired off-screen & returned for three final lines of gibberish.) But Megaweapon killed the stupid bike, & that's all that matters in this stupid film. Praise Megaweapon!
William C (jp) wrote: One of the best of the 1980s' slew of "Sword and Socerer" films, this one is still fun to watch with some interesting subtexts under the story itself. It looks Medieval, has some neat campy scenes, and the dragon still holds up. In fact, note the similarity between Brian Johnson's creation and the dragon used in "Reign of Fire," whose f/x guys insisted they had created a whole new design: rubbish; they owe ILM a debt of gratitude.
