Heather M (de) wrote: Jillian is a mess of a human being and you just can't look away as she engages with the various kooky people in the community. This was a slow build, but eventually you find yourself wrapped up in this story and when it ends you want more. Great cast, good story, perfect ending.
Shannon C (es) wrote: After seeing Mary and Max, which showed how good Australian cinema can be, No Through Road showed the other extreme of Australian cinema. Terribly amateur camera work, pacing, acting with no atmosphere, I unfortunately did not make it to the end (well only after skipping through :D ). Give this a wide berth.

The S (de) wrote: Quite fun but pretty lightweight in most ways, this should, perhaps, have gone straight to television and only the impressive locations ever make it feel any more than that.

Emilia P (gb) wrote: A coherent movie about remorse. I felt symphaty toward Manuel and I think he was a heart-breaking character. I've never killed anyone, but I have made smaller mistakes, and I think this movie depicts the feeling of remorse pretty well and it was easy to relate to Manuel. I was pleased with the cast and their excellent performances, especially Billy Bob Thornton's. All in all I think this was a pretty sad movie. Regretting one mistake for the rest of our life could be painful. The end was touching when Manuel took a bullet for Abney, and despite everything, Adele took him to the hospital. So it was a happy ending, 'cause he finally confessed and recieved forgivness?
Loyal D (ru) wrote: Marky Mark is at it again with another solid acting performance. This was a really inspirational and uplifting movie about the true story of Vince Papale. The acting was solid and the movie was great. The story was even better and it was executed fairly well. One of the better football films I've seen.
Emrah O (mx) wrote: I had high expectations for this film. Having seen it yesterday really did not exceed my expectations. The story doesn't connect throughout the film. Not-so-bad actings wasn't enough for me to rate this more than 3.5 stars.
Tyler S (gb) wrote: Not one of the better Steve Martin movies. It's just too silly and over the top. I know certain Martin movies like Bowfinger and others are like that, but this one just made no sense. He was good in his role as a corrupt sergeant, and it was good seeing Phil Hartman on the screen as his rival. Ultimately the movie's silly plot execution can't make up for Steve Martin's talent.

Daniel B (us) wrote: Typical 90's action cheese? Yes! Although I did think the inital plot was good in theory but not so great on the acting from some and many overly exaggerated scenes. But I do think an updated and modern version of this film with better special effects "may" have potential if done properly.
